Anyone that knows my resent posts knows I'm a huge fan of IBTanked complete tank kits and one of my favorite things is the 'thingy'. After explaining it , several people expressed that they wished there was something like it for unique sized tanks.
That got me thinking and I have come up with a simple, common tool that you all probably have by the hundreds...
A ziplock baggie.
Seriously.
Insert a new carto into your tank and fill it using whatever method you prefer and then pop the tank into a ziplock, leaving one edge open. Blow into the baggie like you were inflating a balloon and then seal it completely.
Squeeze the baggie repeatedly being careful not to pop the seal. The changes in air pressure will force juice to saturate your carto. Keep doing it until you either don't see any more bubbles or the polyfill looks wet.
Simply remove the tank, top it off and you are ready to go!
