Carto threading stuck in connector. Help?

The chuck took a leap last night with a cartomizer attached. The carto broke off and left it's threading inside. Anyone have ideas how to get it out? I'm thinking spinning it as if unscrewing the carto, but haven't found anything that can grip it enough to turn it yet.

I have no clue. My first attempt would be to put the carto body back over the threads and take some pliers and gently twist. Just throwing something out there.
If it were a light bulb I would use a potatoe cut in half and jam it in there and turn-LOL. Sorry, had to say it. Good Luck!
