Cartomizer advice

I've never tried using any of the cartomizers before and was looking to give it a try on my XH. I was hoping the XH-5 Elite kit would have a GreenCig or 808-D1 sample carto included, but only got the adapter (drats). So now I'm looking to get a few cartos to try, but not sure which one to get, the greencig or the kr808. Flavors? Lastly, should I just get a blank and fill my own, or should I just start out with a filled one first?

Any golden nuggets of information welcome!

Hey I was thinking along these lines too!! I've never tried the KR or Greens everyone raves about and was wondering same thing. I even scoped the site to see them and noted that blanks of one are sold out so... That might make your choice easier

If you ever passing through the Des Allemands area call me before you do I normally keep some extra kr808d-1 carts on me. Most I've used but I will leave a new one in my car.

Personally I love the Carto's as you seen in the pic I text you, although I filed down the center post of the 901 xhaler adapter to connect it directly to that instead of needing the adapters. I used to be a hardcore 510 user till now.

It has a strong/somewhat harsh throat hit, and the vapor is nice. The cartridge set on 5v will normally last me about 2-3 hours of constant vaping, and the flavor is still wonderful. Personally I bought the coffee flavors kr808d-1, but it had terrible vapor production so I just blew into the mouth piece over a cup to clear it out of that juice and refilled it with HV juice. It still has a little coffee flavor for the first 1-2 refills but it goes away quickly.

Shawn.. damnit man.. give the 510 another try with my new mod! I know you tried my cant vent hole with poly-fil back when with the 510. YOU SERIOUSLY NEED TO TRY THE SLUG! Dont talk yourself out of it.. JUST TRY IT!

How is the refill though? do you have to remove the blue foam? I find the throat hit stronger than if I drip on my 510 though

Yes you'll have to remove the foam, though alot of the time i just add another 3 drops on top of the plug or slug. When i get time i'll remove it and fill normally.

The slug is easier to handle as it dont have to make a perfect seal like the plug. I dont see why you could'nt just use a toothpic and push it to one side to fill and then just push it back in place without removing it.

I'm sure it depends on the juice but i'm getting great TH using the Slug and Drewbacco! To the point of that i realized that i've never had TH before using a PV. I've been using TW's Marl since day one. hehe

Same slug with Cafe mocha Tobacco i dont get a TH.

Just try it! hehe.

Use all the juice in the cart evertime! Maximize the space in the cart with no filler so obviously more juice in the tank. NO more leaking cart or getting juice in your mouth. All that equals no wasted juice, longer lasting carts and perfect vaping my friends! LONG LASTING CARTS as well. Have not verified yet when you should change the plug. Been using the same stuff every day hehe.

Buy up one of those 3 packs and you'll end up with 6 large sheets of the foam.. Should last a lifetime!

P.S. Wife is FINALLY gona let me order up a Xhaler tonight.. Just gota wait for her to deposit enough money. YEEEHAAAW!! Sucks as i'll have to wait for Monday to try it

P.P.S. I would lvoe to take apart a Cartomizer to see if i can fit a foam plug in it! hehe.. Sucks i dont think i'll have enough to grab the cartamizer adaptor with my order... though does'nt a cartomizer fit a 901 tip adaptor anyways??
