Cartomizer Cleaning Finding the bad ones

Now I’ve heard of different ways of doing it and I have no issues with that. But, cartos do go bad and I’ve noticed, while blowing through them to get excess water out that some are harder to push through then others.
Does that mean that they are bad?

Also forgot to ask…
When re-using (cleaned and dried) a punched dual carto with a tank, it doesn’t seem to work well.
I think it does not seem to wick well.
Is there a reason for that?

That's the same experience I've had trying to clean cartos. They never come back out working the same or wicking even close to a new carto. I tried many different ways of cleaning it and was never successful. These days once a carto starts to get funky flavor or the draw tightens up then it's in the garbage.
