Cartomizer DOA

Hello everyone and thanks in advance for your response. I am new to vapeing about 3½ months into it now, I have noticed all suppliers will not guarantee cartomisers only for DOA. Since I buy 4 or 5 boxes at a time I have not had any problems so far. My question, can cartomizers be checked before they are used? If so how? Because by the time I use a new one I won't know if it is a DOA or not. Thanks

I've not had any so far that didn't work out of the box. If you want to check them you can get a multimeter. I got mine at walmart for $15 but you can get them cheaper at ebay. Here's how to check them.

Thanks donnah for your reply, so what you are saying is with the multimeter if you get a reading it's good no reading it's DOA correct?

The resistance will read way off where its supposed to be or it wont read at all.

if it's dead it wont register any numbers at all. Like flipping on a light switch and the bulb doesn't come on.
