Started vaping for a week now. So still kinda of new to this vaping thing. I currently own the Joye 510. I just received the 510 Boge soft cap blank cartomizers today. Filled in the juice, when i try to vape it, I hear the cartomizer making some noise. Does that mean i put in too much or little juice? I can still vape it. Also if you have Ejuice in your mouth how would it feel? Would it sting your mouth? I'm not sure did i get any Ejuice in my mouth, but after I vape there seems to be some kind of taste in my mouth. When I drink water, the first sip I took, it felt like i was drinking some flavored water. Then after I drink another sip that flavor was gone. So I'm not sure if some Ejuice have gotten in my mouth. When I vape using the cartridge i didn't get taste or flavor in my mouth.

Thanks for reading :D

If the cartomizer is making a gurgling noise, then yeah, you've overfilled it. Take it off the battery and blow through the mouthpiece into a tissue, papertowel or the sink. A couple of healthy blows should clear it right up. Then clean the battery end of both carto and battery before reattaching it. If it's a sizzling, popping noise then it's normal for some cartos. It does sound like it's overfilled though, since from what you describe you are getting juice through the mouth hole. Again, blowing it out will usually stop that. If it doesn't, try altering your draw method. The filler on a carto can be pretty close to the top, so hard draws can dislodge the juice and pull it toward you. The juice really won't hurt you except for maybe irritating your mouth or giving you heartburn if you have a sensitive stomach. It takes a little practice to get the hang of cartos, just like it does attys.

I use the Boge 510 and they hold as much as 30-35 drops but will gurgle for sure with that much.
But I have not had one release fluid out the top like most other cartomizers do.
Probably because they use about twice as much packing inside as others.
If you're hearing popping/crackling sounds, thats just the fluid heating up kinda like the sound some foods make in the micro-wave.
I expect to hear that sound to know I'm getting a good hit.

But every flavour I've used will instantly sting on the tounge and you will definately know it because you'll be running for a tissue to wipe it off!
Blarf!

Well the noise sounds like if you frying something on the pan. So I guess that a sizzling noise? But anyway i did try blow from the mouth opening to a paper towel but i dind't see anything. So I guess that normal right? Will that sizzling noise eventually go away? I'm using a drip tip w/ the carto now cuz i was afraid the mouth piece being too close. If there was Ejuice in your mouth will it not sting or irrated you and just have some flavor? Cuz i'm not so sure did any juice get in my mouth. It feels kinda wet after i vape, but no irritating or stinging feeling. I just tasted some flavor so i wasn't sure does that mean ejuice have gotten in my mouth.

Can't use a tip with a carto. It's built together. Maybe you are using a Cary with an atomizer. Cartos have the 2 combined. You may just be tasting the sweetness of ur juice. What flavor are you
Using?

Can i take the white mouth piece off the carto and put a drip tip there?

Never tried that brand of juice before so I wouldn't be able to tell you. But certain juices for tobacco flavoring have a very distinct sweetness to them that resembles honey or sweet almonds. As for the drip tip in a carto u shouldn't have to. The only time I have problems with my cartos is when I overheat it and it leaks from the side and mouthpiece.

Pandatera is it a whistle tip carto or just a flat disc inserted into the end? If it's the disc you can remove that with a straightened paper clip and then fit the drip tip inside. If it's the whistle tip then you won't need a drip tip.

With Marlboro type juice, I'd say if you were getting juice in your mouth you would know it. The tobacco style juices taste rather nasty when they leak into your mouth.

The sizzling is just your heating coil vaporizing the juice, it's normal and may or may not go away. I actually like it because I know my carto is working properly.

The carto is a flat tip. If i'm using a drip tip, when i think my carto is running dry, can i just directly drip from the drip tip? I saw alot of videos on how to refill the carto, but didn't c anyone using a drip tilp and just directly dripping from it to the carto. Also I have another question regarding the drip tip. I orginally purchased it to try to use it to direct drip to my atty and thought it would be very convience since i didn't need to remove anything and just drip. AFter you drip to the drip tip won't you need to kinda take out the drip tip and rinse it w/ water or at least wipe it clean? It feels kinda strange to just drip into it and then just vape from it. Feels like i will definetly get some juice in my mouth that way. Do you guys clean the drip tip after you drip some ejuice to your atty with it? This is the drip tip i have Delrin / plastic Drip Tip for 510.

You can use the drip tip to drip directly into the carto. I would suggest going ahead and removing it from the battery though since it can get messy otherwise. Put one of the silicone caps that it came in on the battery end, tilt the carto at a 45 degree angle and then drip down the sides, rotating as you go. If you drip directly into it with it upright the juice will tend to go straight down the center hole. When you take the silicone cap off the battery end, hold the carto slightly above the cap and gently blow into it. that will clear any leftover juice from the drip tip and the center hole. Considering all that, I personally just remove the carto from the battery, put my juice in one of the silicone caps and push the battery end down into the cap. Let is sit for a couple of seconds and then clean the battery end with a tissue before reconnecting it to the battery. It's really quick and easy to do. If you're not sure how much juice to use at first, take off the drip tip and watch the inside of the carto until the juice comes slightly up over the filling.

The sizzling noise that are hearing is normal. If you are like me, you will come to love that sound. Drip tips work great with the Boge carto's, but I would advise not filling it through the drip tip. Simply pop the drip tip out and drip onto the filler while holding the carto at a slight angle to fill, the put the drip tip back on. If you try to drip through the tip, the juice will simply run down the center hold and end up flooding the carto.

As far as getting juice in your mouth, it's really not a big deal if you do. While I don't do it anymore, or at least don't notice if I do, I used to get it in my mouth all the time. Getting juiced is kind of like a vaping initiation, so welcome to the club :).

*Edit* I forgot to add, if you are not over filling the carto, you really shouldn't have a problem with getting juiced. If you find yourself over filling, simply blowing through the mouth piece end is a quick, easy way to blow out the extra juice and be on your way.

Personally, I top off my carto's fairly often. Like any atomizer, keeping them wet is key to long life. If you vape them too dry, the carto's will start to get a burnt taste to them as you are burning the dry filler. I personally top mine off about once an hour or so.

Thanks you all for helping! I did try all different ways to filled the cartos. I experience with the 5 blank cartos I gotten today. So far I'm more comfy with dripping from the top after popping out the mouth piece , slighty angle and moving as I drip. I tried the condom way but I seem to get messy. I end up with juice all over, maybe i'm still new at it and not sure if i'm doing it right. I filled out one of the silcone cap about 1/3 of juice and then slowly insert the battery end in the cap. It seems like Juice keep coming out from the mouth piece once i push it down. I already filled out all my empty cartos now, maybe the next fill i can try again and have the mouth piece open so i can see wat is going on. Also how does a burning taste, taste like? I keep worrying about it getting too dry and keep popping up the top to look at it.

Oh also if i'm just refilling my carto is the condom way still recommended?

Thank you all for ur help :D

Sounds like you're getting the hang of it.

I've used the condom method with other cartomizers because of ease and the fact that you can have all you empties lined up and do them all at once quickly. But the boge holds a lot more fluid so I pop out the rubber cap and drip them from the top.

I tend to overfill mine which makes them have a very strong initial hit but little or no vapor until the whole packing heats up. I dont mind because I know I'll get several hours of use out of them but you can get heartburn and hiccups from trying to get them to produce the initial vapor.

As for the burning taste - you'll know it when it happens because the flavour just wont be there anymore.
When that happens, or when you dont hear the "frying" sound anymore - you'll know its time to refill.

Be careful when using LR cartomizers - The filament in them is thinner and can burn up quickly.
I bought some 510 LR cartos from ecigsupply and burned one up in just a couple hits.
You can't hit them for 5 seconds like the regular cartos. If you're a video gamer then imagine how you tap the controller when turning at high speeds in a racing game. Thats how you have to hit them. That keeps the fluid warm and hitting but doesn't burn through the filament. Keeping them very wet is also highly reccommended.
