Cartomizer non-perfumy flavors?

Hey guys,

Just wondering what cartomizers ya'll are using that might taste less perfumy or floral. I was a menthol smoker but I don't like to vape menthol. My favorite vaping flavor is banana, but so far Steve does not carry prefilled banana cartos. To date, the only flavor carto I like that does not taste so much like perfume is the peach cobler at V4L. I have tried Pina Colada, caramel, chocolate and lychee. I would like to try some other flavors but I don't want to get stuck with a six-pack of something I don't like.

I do not have any experience with health cabin's carto flavors except that my husband prefers their menthol over V4L's "Cool" menthol. Maybe V4L's Marlboro menthol tastes more true to what his cigs tasted like. I have tried health cabin's banana juice when I was using an 801 and I liked that fine. Can I assume that their cartos have that same juice in them?

Any input or suggestions are welcome! I'd like to find a banana and a blueberry that taste like the fruit and not like a flower or perfume.

I'm pretty sensitive to that perfumey taste as well, and I can't stand it. However, the chocolate is something I can tolerate. The flavors I have tried that I like and don't seem to have that perfume taste are grape, peach cobbler, mint, coconut, pear, pineapple, banana, and vanilla. My favorite is the mint. It's very, very refreshing. Hope that helps some!

I think the pear is perfumey,try ry4 or coffee they dont taste perfumey to me.

So far ive tryed redbull, worst redbull ive tryed (not purfumy, just bad), mint, Very very good and coffee, its not purfumy, just weak and dosnt taste like coffee. Best bet is to buy somthing that isnt "too" bad, and refill yourself with good juice, or just buy the empty ones. Cigeasy carrys the empty ones but they seem to sell out real fast.

To me v4l coffee tastes like black coffee and cappucino has milk and sugar!!!

I haven't bought any banana carts, but I've been buying V4L banana juice and blank cartomizers from other vendors and filling my own. I use the blank cartos when I want a flavor that V4L is out of in the cartomizers.

How about trying the cola or doc pepper? I don't drink either, especially not dr. pepper, but love them both as vapes. Honestly I don't know how but the cola dances on my tongue like it's got bubbles!

I'm like you, not liking the perfumy tastes one bit. Not a trace of that in either of these. Try coconut too, I don't even like coconut but these are great!

I don't see cola cartos on the site right now(V4L), but I've had them so I'm sure they'll be back.

I like that Gee! "cola dances on your tongue"! That's what I have experienced as well, but would never have known how to describe it! NHaler has banana carts. Health Cabin has blank (empty) carts that you can fill with your own banana juice. Personally though, I haven't gotten the science down on how many drops to refill with. I tried doing the 18 or so drops like the video on here shows and that flooded my cartomizer (and I got back-wash), so I'm guessing my carto wasn't as dry as I thought it was. I tried 5 - 6 drops and that wasn't enough to give me a flavorful vape. I still tasted cotton. So I'm going to keep trying. Today I'll try 10 drops and I'm going to buy some empty carts to fill myself. I like banana and coconut flavors too!

Thank you everyone for the tips. I am going to buy some banana carts at v4l now that they are available, but I might also try some of the other flavors you all suggested.

Might want to try out http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/vapor4life/47584-my-refilling-trick.html to get a great refill on cartos. We have tons of tips and hints in the V4L subforum that will work great for any kr8081-d users. Come take a peek, we don't bite but I am prone to spontaneous hugging attacks.
