I have noticed over the last week or so I have been using cartomizers that life of each carto seems to be heavily dependant of what kind of juice I use in them. My favorite of all Atomic Cinacide tends to foul the carto in 4 or 5 refills, or 2ish days where the USA Mix usually takes 4 to 5 days to see the bad taste/bad performance come out. Does anyone else have this same experience or am I doing something wrong? I did attempt to clean the cartos after a few uses but it seems to me they get a nice warn wet dog taste to them so I now just toss them when the performace issues arise.

Yup, I think your right. I have a PG based jtime, clear in color & a bit on the runny side that I use for my main vape and get close to 20 refills (got 21 one time) outta a carto. Now all my other flavors I can only get around 5-8 refills before the pull starts to get tight.

I got my 510 cartomizers from liquidXpress a couple of weeks ago. I like them with my Tornado but I can't figure out how to take off the top plastic cap without breaking it. I tried it on one and broke it and obviously don't want to do it again. I can only use the condom refill method which is great but still want to be able to wash it and drip. Thanks.

To get the top off the hard cap carto's just hold the mouthpiece end under hot running water for about one minute. Then pry it off. It'll come off pretty easy. Next time buy soft tip carto's. They can be found.

I buy my prefilled cartomizers (cool rush) from liquidXpress but buy my blanks from vaporking ($1 cheaper) because they have the one's with the rubber cap & there new ones also has a silicone stopper inside to catch leaks.
Do what dude said above to get the caps off.

I've got some of those too. Broke the center out of the cap. No problem, alot of times I just leave the cap off. I'll do a direct type drip method if I am not on the go with my cartos. Never put the cap back on and the very second I feel the vapor dropping off I add 4-8 drips of liquid along the outside edges and get right back to it. So worst case, break out the center and keep using. I just toss mine after a week or so.

I bought a bunch of those glued in hard cap cartos. I don't like them, I'll use them but in the future I think compared to what I spent on cigs, I can allow myself to spend the little extra for the soft caps.

I have never used Atomic cinnacide so I could not say, but most of my cartomizers have lasted me for months, mind you I switch from cartos to carts quite often so with heavy constant usage I really could not say.

From what was mentioned about the wet dog taste that is because the cart was not sufficently dried out. I have yet had the need to was out a carto and have used the same one with various liquids with no problems. Eventually the filler does "wear out" and then it goes in the garbage.
