Dunno. Maybe the batteries could be recycled wherever regular batteries are supposed to be recycled. Cartos - some people manage to clean an get even more life out of them. You are refilling them right? And using them until the performance goes down? After that if you want I guess you could strip the cover and rip out the insides and recycle the metal? I am just guessing. I've only been vaping 4 months w/ 4 ecigs and have not had anything die yet. I stacked my used cartos and plan to try a cleaning.

I would think you could take the batteries to anyplace that recycles rechargeable batteries. They are lithiuim-ion just like in cell phones, laptops, and alot of other things. I know some stores have boxes you can drop em in. Home Depot maybe.
As for the cartos, which are steel I'm guessing. Only thing I can think of would be a scrap metal yard. Would take a long time to go through enough cartos to be worth the trip.
It would be pretty funny. Going to a scrap yard with like a 55 gallon trash bag of dead cartos.

I would remove the connectors from the batteries before recycling the battery part of the "battery". The connectors sell for $2-3 and are used for mods. I would think/hope the lithium ion portion could be recycled or at least properly disposed of wherever other batteries are.

Cartomizers can be rebuilt, seems like a fairly complicated process for such an inexpensive part, but at the very least the threaded piece could probably be removed and re-used by modders (like the battery connectors, these are also sold for about $2 and used by modders). I wouldn't hold out much hope for the rest of the carto, might just need to be scrapped.

Vaprgal - I've seen on PIF wants thread posts for dead batteries. Seems there's a need for almost anything. Even seen recycled shipping envelopes and carto condoms there...Defiantly something you could check out to reduce/reuse/recycle!! :)

**just saw a request for dead 510 batts on wants..
