OK i know i am a week old noob and 6 months from now i am going to not even think like i do now but there is something that is killing my vaping experience.
i am trying out a few things and here are my experiences so far. before i go there let me say what my preferences are.
i am on the go mostly and i like the pen like e-cigs. i really love the volcano pcc that has slots for all the things i need on the go.
i have to say i havent found my favorite system yet. here are my experiences with each -

1) Ego - I started with this and it was good enough to keep me off analogs but the size and the quick refilling need made me look for something different.
I feel like the flavor and amount of vapor is not drastically different from smaller units so there is not a strong reason for me to stick with this long term.

2) Magma with tank - I really like the tank system but what really puts me off is the unexpected leaks with the sudden hit of liquid in my mouth when it is least expected.
I hate it when that happens and it is forcing me to find an alternate without losing the amount of vapor.
i feel like i am already not even getting a strong enough TH with this and leaks on top of it is not helping. also the flavor seems to be a hit and miss with these.
some times you feel it some times you don't.

3) Volcano with cartomizer - i havent tried the actual cartomizer yet but i used the volcano disposable ecig so i am thinking it will be very similar.
the vapor is thinner and TH is lower so i didnt particularly enjoy this but i really like that it has no leaks and no maintenance.
i ordered a few cartomizer packs
i know cartomizers are more expensive but compared to what i was spending on analogs i think i can live with it until i find a better choice.

What are your thoughts on this ? Is there something else that i am not trying ? the foam carts is not something that i want to keep doing.
i want only volcano or magma size units not any bigger.
So far tanks worked best for me but i really don't want to keep putting up with the leaks.
Cartomizers are too weak for my need.
What i definitely want to keep using is the pcc case so i want something that works with them. Please shared your thoughts.

I would recommend a 3.7V and not an eGo. I use an EPower and love it. The 3.7v will give a warmer vape than an eGo and better throat hit. Plus the 3.7v works better with LRs than an eGo.
As far as tanks, some people like them and some don't.
While they do hold a good bit of juice, I also find that they can dull the flavors of juices.
You can get bigger cartos and then you don't have to refill as often. I use the Ressurectors on my Epower. They hold 2ml of juice so they don't need to be refilled often and I find they give much better flavor than a tank. Plus I find tanks can be a pain to carry when your out. The ressurectors are much easier to carry and it's easy to throw a few in your pocket and your good all day

I didn't like tanks, the idea is good and I had no problem with leaks, I just don't like cool vapour and got no th. I got some boge cartos and they have been great, I vape more than I smoked but they are going a good 6 hours between needing topping up so basically almost the life of the battery.

should i get low resistance or high resistance boge cartos for my volcano magma ? also 6 hours battery seems high. can anyone recommend good batteries that will fit and charge with my magma pack that i love ?

i am not sure if everyone has the same experiences with cartomizers but i am facing some serious heating issues with cartomizers. the cartomizers i got from volcano are getting extremely hot to the point where i cant even hold it near my lips. two continuous drags or one long drag and i have to wait 20-30 seconds for it to cool off. is this the general nature of cartomizers ?

No. I use boge LR cartos on my eGo-T and I can get more than 5 long drags before that puppy even starts to warm up and that's back to back!

has anyone tried boge lr cartos with a 3.7V 510 battery (same size as volcano magma) ?
i am using a sr carto (2.7 to 3 ohms) with my ego and it doesnt get warm so thats good
but if i use the same carto with my magma it gets too warm for the lips
