Hey guys Noob vapor here. I purchased my first ecig 3 weeks ago. I bought a 510 after a few weeks of research. I have bought a few extra pieceS here and there. I bought a pack of cartomizers last week to give them a shot. It seems my battery is going dead way more quickly. The site said they were made for the 510. Maybe it's no compatible or does it goto a mega battery?

If they're low resistance cartomizers, they will make your batteries die faster. Generally it's best to use Standard Resistance cartomizers (3.0) with a 510 battery.

They could be Low Resistance (LR) cartos. If you are using these on a standard small 510 batt yes they will darin that batt super fast. LR would ohm out at around 2.0 ohms. If you have a multimeter you can check them.

...what they said...LR cartos should be used on higher mah batteries such as come on eGos, Rivas or other fat batt clones/mods...........

Your eGo is a minimum of 650mAh, the 510 bat they are talking about is only 180mAh. BIG difference in the amount of Amps they are capable of.

Just to add a note here: IT may say "510" but usually that's referring to the connection type, not necessarily the device. There are other devices and modes that also use a 510 connector, such as the larger battery eGo, and these are the devices that low resistance cartomizers are really made for.

That said, I've used LR cartomizers on a 510 and had no issues -- other than the battery dying more quickly, of course. But it's not recommended as it will reduce the overall lifespan of the battery.

You need to use 2.8ohm and higher for the slim ecig 510 batteries. If you have an ego or riva, then you can use anything. Low resistance will kill your little batteries very quickly and I mean dead to where you can't recharge them ever again.
