Cartomizers and Tanks

Hello everyone,

As I do more research, I think I am leaning towards a cartotank setup for my next step up, when I upgrade out of my eGo-T with a mini vivi nova. Which has been great so far.

I am trying to glean the forums, but that is ever so overwhelming, and I thought I'd post in the 'nub' forum to avoid cluttering other forums. I've read Baditude's blog, which is amazing for information (if you read this and are still learning, search for his blog, read it, re-read it, and then read it again).

My questions are as follows:

What choices do I have for non-punched cartomizers? Looking for the highest quality, and will be punching them myself.

What are some of the best looking and/or highest quality glass and stainless steel cartotanks? I prefer glass because I see no need to limit myself to plastic. If they can be upgraded with a glass tank sold elsewhere, that works too.

I have looked into the Kir Fanis tanks, vaporfexion, and Big Daddy tanks, but are there other options?

I dislike, despite their absolute beauty, the Fluid Flask cartotanks because I would prefer to use my own 510 drip tip, and they are not offered in glass (surprising, considering it's 70 dollarbucks).

I don't care about price one bit, I do care about quality completely.

RBA's and drip atomizers are later down the road.

Thanks greatly in advance!

And IBTanked

X2 on the IBTanked and adding the Vaporfection tank to the list with pyrex option when ordering. Both very well made. For cartos you can use any just make sure you they do not have a sticker on them. Most people punch I prefer to slot with my trusty dremel tool. My favorite carto is the Ikenvape fusion in my tanks. Boge's work well too.

The phiniac tanks are all sold out, except for clear and sandblasted of course. I checked their site and really would like to grab a textured glass tank, any idea when they will produce more? Can I use them on something like the vaporfexion tanks?

I do like the low cost of the IBTanked, but I was leaning toward something a tad prettier, if that's not too ......ed a statement. The Vaporfexion tanks are gorgeous, however. Man do I love me some options.

As for cartomizer selection, so far I've gathered Ikenvape and Boge cartos. I'm leaning more towards dual coil cartos.

Thanks for the tip on slotting, I shall probably try both to see which works best for me. I have a dremel for that purpose.

I would also like to say that I love you all, everyone here is helpful and it's amazing that you guys go through the new member forum and help out those of us that are still asking questions. I recommend ECF to people quite often.

After further investigation, it seems I don't need to use a dual coil. So if I ran a single coil cartomizer in a tank on a provari, what omh cartomizer should I be looking at?

You shouldn't use dual coils. ;)

With a Provari, it really doesn't matter what resistance your cartomizers are as you'll be able to adjust the voltage on your battery to your liking. If you want to prolong your battery life, however, use higher resistance atties.

BTW, I use Boge f15 and f16 carto tanks--they cost 4-6 bucks each, with a laser pre-punched Boge carto already installed. They look great, work great and don't leak! :D

Wow, actually those look pretty nice. And they're really inexpensive. I probably shouldn't have watched PBusardo's reviews on the AGA-T's, because now I think I'm changing my mind. I can vape on cartos in a Boge F16 while rolling wicks and wrapping coils. Why is this stuff so cool?

I've gone from an eGo-T upgrade with a kanger T3, to a mini vivi nova, discovered it works better on the 'high' setting, decided I needed VV, moved to cartotanks, and now I'm on RBAs. I've spent at least 3 days worth of solid hours researching EVERYTHING.

Someone is yelling 'mechanicals' in the distance, I know I can hear it...
