Cartomizers clogging/burning lately?

Has anyone had problems with cartomizers clogging, or burning up lately? I have tried both LR and normal, different voltages (on a provari) and different juices, but my cartos are lasting 2 days max I remember these things lasting much longer than that. Am I the only one having this problem?

Mines are completely opposite..not a burning taste..just no flavor..tried my SR boges on different voltages..all the same..vapor with no taste..

ive had the clogging issue lately but only with a new juice (that i love). the juice is a extracted tobacco with caramel and is pretty dark. so no real shock it clogs them really. its to bad though because for a day they are amazing together. sigh

I use TV waffle in mine and I'm lucky to get them to last 2 maybe 3 days.. they don't taste burnt.. just they lose flavor. The one I'm using now was filled new last night and is already lost it's zip and flavor I know these things are cheap but I'm frugal and I'll find myself nursing it along, getting no satisfaction, trying to keep from filling a new one. I love the full bodied draw and flavor of a new carto but I'm finding myself using my bottom feeder (now that I'm finally learning how to use it without flooding it) more cause it's more cost effective.

Whatever works for you is the perfect vape and if a carto works for you and only last 2 days it's probably worth the price of a new one.

However if you are getting a burning taste you are either letting it get to dry before topping off or you are vaping too quickly with a thick juice. The thicker juices take longer to wick to the atty

Nope, your not the only one having this problem. Different liquids will have different effects on cartos at low and higher volts.

Liquids that contain vg or dark coloring will clog up a carto/atty....depending on the ejuice, sometimes after the first fill or two and will eventually need to be cleaned or replaced with a new one..... strait PG liquids will too but over a longer period of time.
The atomizer coil will build deposits from the liquid and you will ether get a burning flavor or little to no flavor with very little vapor.

No matter if your carto is LR or standard, the hotter the coil, the more build up on the coil you get. I have had the same results with both 510 and 808 cartos.
I have used the same juice in the same cartos each on a different device.
Using two 510 boge LR's, I fill them with a grape flavored liquid I make at home 60%VG / 20%PG=flavoring / 17%distilled water 3%alc-vodka. One carto on a eGo batt and the other on a infinity VV at 4 to 4.5 volts. I get about 4 to 5 fills on it before it needs cleaning and my wife using the eGo gets about 8 to 10 fills.

Now I also have a VOLT batt from Smokless Image that's a kr808 and using the same juice I make getting the same results as my wife does with her eGo.. I vape 555 from SI and I believe it's all PG and I get about 20 or so fills on it before having to replace it with a new or clean carto.

I usually clean or replace them when I detect any burning or loss in flavoring or anything out of the ordanary for that matter.
