Cartomizers incredibly dry after cleaning? Help needed!

I've always just rinsed my carts with a little hot water and blew them out really well, then used them a few minutes afterwards and they worked fine. The other day, I decided after doing this a few times, I'd REALLY clean them, so I used the boiling method and blew them out, then let them sit overnight...now, EVERY one of them has this dry, cardboard taste, and this REALLY dry feeling when I inhale. I go to inhale and it hits me HARD, but not in a good, throat hit kind of way, its this dry feeling, almost like I'm inhaling powder into my throat, to the point that I start coughing and have to take a drink of water or something before I can even THINK about trying it again, and keep in mind, I LOVE the strong throat hits, I used to use 36mg carts, though now I use 24mg, but yea... I only get that after the boiling method. Problem is, I did it to every last one of my carts and now all of them are pretty much useless to me because I can NOT handle that dryness...anyone else experienced this, or know of any solutions? Thanks for any help, it is MUCH needed, as I'm basically without a way to get my fix right now and shipping will take 3-5 days on new carts.

I don't have anything useful to contribute as far as your cartomizers are concerned, but I would like to point out that this teaches a really important lesson that I learned the hard way last week.

Back up parts.

Have some.

Trying a new cleaning method and doing it on all of your cartomizers at the same time is really risky. If it doesn't work out, you're stuck until you can get more.

Pretty much all of this stuff is "disposable" to a certain degree. Even eGo batteries have only so much of a lifetime. If you don't keep some back-up stuff around, you'll be without a PV at some point or another.

Hopefully somebody will be able to help with the cartos.

Thanks so much for the reply Veedubb! You have a good point that my dumb ..., for whatever reason, ignored, lol. I don't know why i went ahead and just cleaned all of them, I guess because they were all kind of crappy where I had been using different flavors and juices in all the carts so I just said screw it, I'll do them all! But yea, that was really stupid of me and thanks for your advice, I really do appreciate it!

I find that once the cartos are cleaned and very dry, they will take more juice and taste incredible. The key, IMHO, is to fill them and then let them sit on their side for a few days. This gives the material time to saturate all of that great flavor and the juice will vick to the coil better. Lots more Vapor.
