Ben here's a link to USPS priority shipping charges. Also if you look at First Class max rate is $2.90. A scale is cheap. Even if you don't get one just add the cost of envelopes into the shipping cost and charge the highest amount for 1st Class and it's still way cheaper than what you currently charge. Just something to think about. By the way priority is $4.95.

Thanks.. I'm looking at the configuration for the rates right now.. It's set up to go based on weight just because once it reaches a certain point it will no longer fit in a flat rate envelope..I messed with some of the settings to show a lower weight per item but I'll have to look into it further.. I may be able to get it to export the item weight automatically for shipping 1st class but I still don't know if I'll go that route though it could be worth it if people don't mind the wait..I know a lot of people would appreciate the lowered cost!
oh by the way, we do offer 1st class to canada and it's pretty cheap..if you don't mind waiting up to 4 weeks...

If you are talking about the flat rate cardboard type envelopes, you might want to look into using the $4.95 flat rate boxes instead. I think you would probably be happier with those as opposed to the envelopes.
I just wanted to chime in real quick. Ben is a great guy with great service, I will continue to order from him even if his rates are a small amount higher than some other suppliers. Its rare to find a one man shop that is as busy as Ben and still offers the personal service that he does.
A good example:
I was talking to him on his onsite chat a few days back, told him I was going to place an order. He said the post man was there getting all of his packages, and he would go ahead and RUSH to get it together so the post man could take it right then. I dont know anyone else that would do something like that. I was able to get my stuff in only 2 days, amazingly fast.
I understand its your choice on who you want to deal with, but its his choice to charge what he wants. If you arent happy, make a suggestion on a competitor and see if he will match the competitor. If he does, great, if not, then oh well. But dont bad mouth him because you dont agree with his pricing.

Fair shipping yes, but expecting Free shipping all the time is an e-bay mentality.
I ordered the blanks last night...just one pack...i didnt get the discount. I'm not complaining and i dont want a discount..you could just throw a little extra something in my package if you like

I do love these new cartomizers, so much so that even after getting a chance to try one of the samples Ben got before ordering the full order, I placed an order for some today The one carto he sent me is my primary use daily since saturday, and I cant complain about it.
