I don't think I'm going to bother cleaning the out anymore; I've noticed that there really isn't a good way to do it. I removed the poly from one that I'd cleaned and refilled and then died a few fills later and there was build up towards the bottom of the carto. I'm sure that it's wholly dependent on what type of juice you're using in your carts so YMMV, but for me, it's not a huge deal to toss them after using them in rotation and refilling them about 10 times.

I use a syringe for filling my cartos, you can get blunt tips if you don't like the regular ones, but I use a 16g and just stick down along side the filler material, assuming you have the soft cap removed. I fill till it comes to the top of the filler, I blow out the excess, sometimes I have to use a safety pin or the syringe to open the air way back up, but it works well and I get it in there evenly distributed as I move the needle around as I'm putting in the liquid. Hope this helps

I think so. I'm presuming that the mouthpiece end has a second cap inside that is removable to expose the filler material, or that there is a port inside that will allow the syringe to get to the filler. I'm getting my first order of cartos this week, and am taking a trip next week with them, and want to make sure I have a way to re-fill them.

I received two packs C-E2 XL's (Rev. . .who the hell knows, but no primer), from CoV last Saturday. Opened and filled one, filled it again Sat, 1.8mL's. Been using it pretty solid ever since. Filling it twice a day every day. I usually throw another 1mL in every 6 hours or so. Using it, (same carto), on RIVa, eGo, (900), Lil Sister, (3.7v, click 2), and ProVape 3.7v. Only issue, the Carto draws harder on my ProVape. But, I'm chicken to back the carto contact out too far for fear of tearin a solder point loose. I'll just keep a refilling it and a vapin it till it drops or I do.

Cheers,

A lot of the soft tip cartos don't have anything between the cap and the filler. Just pop it off with a thin pointy thing or even your fingernail and there's the filler.

same here--I refill until the taste starts to decline, then I chuck them. I don't bother cleaning cartos--I know many people do, but they really are intended to be disposable.

I suspect it depends on how cheap you can get them. allibaba, One of china's more popular industrial web gateways, implies you can get them for as little as$0.20 a piece --plus horrific shipping charges of course.

Finally got around to trying to fill my empty 510 cartomizers. Popped the cap on the mouth end off, and there was a second hard cap underneath. Popped that one off expecting to see filler material, but it was solid with a small round indent in the center (There was a matching plug in the bottom of the second cap, which I presumed plugs the hole once I pierced it, so I did. Had to pierce that with the syringe to get access to the chamber where the filler is - but at least I was able to refill the carto. Totally too complicated for me. Is there any way I can fill the cartos from the atty end (like sticking the syringe down the center hole in the atty?

I refill mine by dripping the e-juice through the threads. When they taste completely dry, I usually drip between 10-12 drops of liquid through it, then blow through the threads until there is no more liquid blown out. Sometimes I still get a drop or two in my mouth when I first start to vape, but to me it's a whole lot easier than using a needle and syring
