Sorry I copied and pasted this from the new members forum.I did not know about this forum till now.

Just started vaping last Wed. and I own a joye 510.I enjoy vaping and smoked only one analog due to my battery dying out but have been doing great since.I came across a vaporking demo on youtube and I was blown away with how easy it was to own one.Just put fresh cart with atty. and vape away. But I started to wonder what is the cost effectiveness on having a cartomizer compared to filling your own.I know thru the website where you can buy the vaporking a 5 pack is $12.50 and last for approx 60 analog cigs.Well with a 3 ml bottle of sample jucie that came with my joye 510 i can fill 5 PTB modded 510 carts and i can blow thru a cart in about 2 hours if that. And 10 ml of juice can go for $12.00 so for approx $3.60 per 5 filled carts.Sorry for the long post but to all of the owners of both styles of e cigs(cartomizers vs filling your own)which is the best and cost effictive way to go?

Thanks for reading,

Streetvapor

Cartomizer is a cartridge with a built in atomizer. So when you are done you just toss it (or you can refill them - tons of info in here on that). Basically your ecig is a two piece unit. Battery, and cartomizer or 'atomizer cartrdige'. That's it.

As far as being cost effective - if you choose to refill your cartomizers - I have found that if you do it right, then it is a close call. No matter what, a regular atomizer with cartridge is going to win out. However for ease of use and the slim difference in cost in the end... I am now a cartomizer man overall myself.

JMHO

Take care,
- Hap

Seriously, I love my VaporKing! I would pay as much as I paid for cigarettes to smoke this instead! Hell, I would pay more then for regular cigs! But I do plan on refilling them once to help cut down the costs. After that I will plug them back up and they will go into a coffee can in case the FDA messes with us. That is my back up plan! ;)

Thanks JenJen an all who replied to this thread. Well I just ordered the ultimate kit from vapo4life.I didnt get the kit with the pcc just because I happen to be by a computer at all times and I also have a car adapter for my 510 PCC so hopefully it will work with the passthrough.I am not happy with my 510 I just wish I saw vaporking first before I pulled the trigger. Now I just need to explain to my wife about the double purchases.I could tell her that the 510 is not working

You will not be disappointed in your purchase!! The VK is the best ecig out there (have had a penstyle, 401 and 510) in MY books! The sad part is that I was actually looking at the VK back in March (found an old post of mine) but went and bought other styles anyways first. (Insert the sound of me slapping myself silly here). Anyway, better late than never! You will LOVE the vapor, the taste, the EASE of use of this ecig! And Steve provides the greatest customer service anywhere out there! Congrats on your purchase and joining the VK forum and community!

I bought the Vapor King after first buying an inferior product as well and am still in the dog house with my fiance. Hopefully once she gets hers sometime this week she will cool down a bit. In the end, I still have no regrets about the purchase.

The Vapor King and Vapor4Life Rock!

My wife wants nothing to do with e cigs so I can't bribe her with one to forget the initial purchase.Maybe I need to buy her some flowers or something.:p

LOL Flowers are always good. Maybe some of the other women here on the forum will chime in and give you some good pointers. JenJen, Phoenix, any suggestions for this poor guy that is about to get reamed for purchasing the best thing going since sliced bread?

Nah She's not geeky like me LOL she thinks this is just a geektoy and I need my geeky fix:p

Happy to read you ordered. You will not be disappointed. This thing is a miracle life saver, and you now know the unique design since you read the thread I referred you to. Once your wife actually sees you using it, and the ease of use, she might change her mind...with the help of some roses...lol. Looking forward to your review when you get it...:D

Unless your car adapter is over 1000ma it probably will not work with a VK passthrough. I have seen posts that say 800ma will work but 1000ma should definitely do it (I say should because I am still in search of this particular unicorn). The 510 PT has an inline battery (most of them do anyway) and you are actually using that battery when you inhale. The battery charges from the adapter. So my car adapter works fine with my 510 PT but not with my VK PT. Just wanted you to be prepared! I am still in search of a 1000ma car adapter so if you have one, please tell me where you got it! :D
