Hey, so I've been puffing away on the cartomizers that came with my npro duo and they last quite a while and are of high quality. My issue though is I've noticed the material inside around the coil is burning. Sometimes very slightly and other times it seems like I've roasted the darn thing. Does anyone know what this is made of? Also anyone know of different e-cig designs that are easy to use but don't have a wick material that can burn. Sort of like a a vaporizer that you just need to put the juice into a chamber and not have it soak into a soft material.

Start dripping!!

Honestly you will almost NEVER get that taste ever again with direct dripping. Only happens if you vape it completely dry.

Look it up on youtube to see how people actually do it but it's quite simple. Just use an empty cart with no filler (or better yet, a drip tip - SuperT makes great ones) and drip approx. 2-3 drops right onto the bridge of your atomizer, then toss the empty cart on top and vape away.

Pros - GREAT taste, better vapor (imo) and no more burnt filler/wick taste.

Cons - you need to re-drip 2-3 drops every 10 puffs or so. I find 2-3 drops equals about a shorty/regular cigarette.

So really unless you are in the car, dripping is THE BEST experience vaping and I think the majority would agree with me here. There are those that love their cartos but I ALWAYS seem to get that filler/wick taste after a few puffs and end up burning some of the material. Too much hassle for me.

I only drip now after trying quite a few different setups. For those long car-rides or times you can't just drip some more in i'll be looking to pickup a bottom-feed mod like something from Welcome to R&R Manufacturing - Handcrafted Battery Box Mods - then you can "drip" from the bottom with the push of the bottle/button.
