Ok I was just curious if other cartomizers will fit the V4L batteries. I have not found my perfect flavor yet and do not want to try mixing juices or using juices just yet. I have tried about 12-15 flavors from V4L but none seem to be the flavor for me. I have found a few others I would like to try but really dont want to buy a box of 5 of them just incase I do not like the flavor. I did that the first time and have alot of cartomizers I dont like. I have tried a few of the sample packs which are great but alot of the flavors I would like to try do not come in the sample packs. Any suggestions. I have only been vaping for 3 days and am doing my best to avoid lighting an analog, but I need that one flavor that I really love in order to do so.

However that being said I have managed to go 3 days without an analog.

Thanks,
Kimi

Any cartomizers designed for the KR808d-1 will work with the V4L batteries.

Good luck finding more flavor selection (outside of juices and filling blanks) though...

They pretty much all come from the same few factories.

Its not really the flavor selection, I just wanted to see if other places may have different sampler packs. V4L has many flavors I would love to try, I just do not want to buy 5 cartomizers of the same flavor just incase I do not like it.

Kimisue...I did a video for the val's V4L blog, which shows how easy it is to fill cartomizers.

Lots of other good information on there too.

Thanks for the video, that makes it look really simple. No tools required that I saw and something I can actually do. I guess I have seen to many where people are taking the thing apart with paperclips and what not and that scared me away a little.

By the time you get done buying blanks, you may find the costs are not so far off-set as they seem if you run the numbers...

Ok, so i might go ahead and give the juices a try, I found a few in the 5ml bottles that I would like to try and I can handle paying 2.95 vs. 9.95 for the cartomizers. I am going to get the blank cartomizers to fill, I am just curious as to actually how hard it is to fill them.

Thanks again!

You don't need tools for this method, but there are a couple other methods out there that require a couple extra things.

Once you get a few refills under your belt, you will be a master in no time.

They're easy to refill. Just pop the cap off and drip liquid into the filler. When it stops absorbing, just give it a couple good shakes (like you'd shake a thermometer) to force the liquid farther down and drip some more. Just make sure you have the silicone cap on the other end (the one with the battery hole plug) when you shake, or juice will fly out. A totally empty carto should take 15-25 drops, depending on what kind of dropper bottle you're using. You shouldn't have to shake it more than two or three times before it's completely full.

I've tried cartos from several suppliers and the V4L premiums are definitely worth the slight markup. It's getting closer, with other brands adopting the 1-piece silicon soft-caps, but the overall build quality and slightly lower resistance still makes them winners in my book.
