Hey, everyone. I was messing around with my eVic with a standard Boge carto and started noticing that I could only get approximately 12-16 (about 5-8 seconds long) hits off of it before I'd get the warning sign that the device was getting too hot. This becomes extremely annoying as I like to have a nice long vape session after a hard days work. Long story short I put a drip shield over the carto just out of curiosity to see if it would help or worsen the heating problem. After doing a few more vape sessions I would count how many hits it would take to get the overheating warning, let the eVic cool down for a few hours and repeat the process. Taking roughly the same amount of time with each hit my findings were that I could easily get anywhere from another 4 to 10 more hits before having the warning sign pop up!

I'd be curious to see some others try this and see if they get the same reaction. To me the benefit of adding on the drip shield were very dramatic. As a side note, it make the device look like it has more of a finished look as well! Thats my opinion anyways. I've never cared much for a plain cart just sitting on any of my mods.

I hope this helped someone out in some kind of a degree! :D
