Your terms are fine. VG can clog a carto more quickly, although my husband is using 100% VG and he's having less clogging issues than he was when he was using 60pg/40vg. Maybe he's just getting better at the whole vaping/maintenance thing. Dunno... :) VG doesn't wick as well as PG, but again... my husband is using the 100% VG in a carto tank and he's having no wicking problems at all. I'm actually rather surprised as this is a fairly thick VG.

I get about a week out of one carto before I toss it. I could probably get more, but I get tired of flavors after that long and I don't like to store cartos that I'm not going to be using a while, but that's just me. You need to make sure you keep them constantly wet though to get that kind of life out of them. I've heard people say they can get a month or more out of one carto.

Hi River Rat and welcome to ECF. Generally juices are 70/ 30 PG/ VG or 80/ 20 PG/ VG. The VG is very thick and if there's too much it may clog the carto. It also depends on the quality of the carto. Make sure when filling to shake the bottle of juice. Carto will last approx 1 week BUT it's very important to keep it wet and the first fill is very important- make sure ALL the filler is completely saturated.
Vg= Vapor
PG= Th, Lung Hot and enhances flavor
Nicotine= TH, Lung Hit and our need for nicotine
Good Luck, Vapoor
Remember to drink lottsa water as dehydration is an issue with new vapers.

LOL YOU'RE atty challenged? I know absolutely nothing about attys except to test juices and ya see you just taught me something and I thank you for that :)

Atties can last for weeks if not months. You just need to treat them right. I prefer cartos, too many dry hits for me with atties. I am atty challenged.

That's so interesting, I was wondering why I was getting dehydrated. Any reason in particular for that?

Hi kristinz84. The vapor comes from our bodies and not the juice. PG and more so VG "traps" the moisture from our mouth, throat and lungs thus the vapor. I drink 2 large glasses of water in the a.m. and 2 liters per day. Realize also if we drink more than 4 cups java that brings additional dehydration. I used to drink 10+ cups per day and have now cut back to 2 regualar and 2 decaf. Dehydration among vapers is a common problem and if not addressed can lead to issues and a lessening of the vaping experience.

That's really good to know! Sorry for the late response. I kind of got lost in posts. I'm going to start drinking a lot more water. I've learned that the higher nicotine levels mixed with 20VG/80PG hurts my throat so bad. I'm trying the 30/70 combo with a lower nicotine level to see if that helps.
