So I just started about 2 weeks ago and am just now finding out the cartridge filler stuff needs to be at the top of the cartridge. I thought the atty would burn the filler but I'm pretty sure I was wrong, and the juice can't get to the atty unless theyre touching. Took awhile to find this information so I figured I'd share with other newbies. Correct me if I'm wrong though

im finding the problem that when i pull my cart out the fill is sticking to the addy? i cant seem to get rid of that burnt taste
well as long as it stays wet even the filler stuck there wouldn't burn. I would think anyway I'm no expert though. Someone else might have more info but I'd think the solution would be more juice. Some juices I've tried just have a burnt taste too.
One other option is to try different fillings for your carts like pyramod t bag mod or blue foam try google them and see the vid's how to make them
The filler needs to touch the atty and keep it wet. If the filler is sticking to the atty, then you could be vaping the cart dry and burning the filler. I just use plain old polyfil, and I've started trying out Fluval recently.
I've been taking out the factory filler (I saw this mod on a video and tweaked it a little myself too) and cutting about 1/3 of it off. I fill the cartridge up with juice, then put that 1/3 piece on top. I poke it down into the juice a little with a toothpick and vape away. When it starts to taste a little dry, I take it apart and poke the filler down into some more juice and make sure it's back up to the top then and vape some more OR I just add more drops of juice. This is working pretty good for my 510 anyways.....
