Cartridge packing

What is the packing materiel in cartridges? I need more. Can I just cut a chunk out of an old pillow?

I have some old cartos, can I scavenge the packing from there?

Do you mean the foam found in some models? I think it'd be wise to stick to factory made stuff.** Ot switch to a cig that uses a tank... the possible annoyance of dealing with foam is one of the reasons I picked tank.

**I am no expert. I just worry about inhaling vaporized plastic, or that some plastics might not be "food grade" and may disintegrate when in contact with liquid. That's just a theory.
