Wondered if anyone can tell me from experience how often you can re-use the cartridges by topping up with liquid.I've been topping up for a couple of weeks now with re-used cartridges and wondered what the do's and don'ts are here. Also should I drip just on to the top of the filler or get it right down inside with a pin/paperclip etc as some threads seem to advise ?.

You'll get answers suggesting all those things.

- If I'm sitting about at home, I'll just drip on to the top of the filler every now and then.
- If I'm filling I'll squash it down to get the air out. Then fill the card, then draw the filler up through the liquid with a paper clip or tweezers or something.

As blackbug says you will get all sorts of opinions, just what works best for you?

Also what particular model you using can make a difference!

I just top up a few drops onto the filler every so often (depending on cart if it a 901 after every 10-15 vapes 510 little longer 15-20 vapes) and use same cart for a day or so, until cart filling starts to discolour, then use another, so get through about 25 carts a month!

Some people wash filler out etc use other filler material, It all a matter of cost, and if you can be bothered do all this ha-ha! For me personally cost of 25 carts a month is manageable :)

You throw them away that often 8-o

I'm on the same cart now for over a week and it still works/tastes fine with heavy use

Guess I just got money to burn ha-ha! Sometimes forget and it a couple of days but seem to clog and hold less juice after a while? I got that many Pv`s on go at moment though Don`t know where up to ha-ha!

Testing adaptever, using SD and jantystick at home and got a couple of 510 kits :D "When in doubt buy more" should have been my family motto think

I like this little question. Personally, I tend to use them a little too long. I bang a new cart in and it's like, wow, what have I been missing. It's like when I get my hair cut, hah. Anyway, you can either pick up a load from china for cheap or lf sell them for 55p each so you don't even need to buy a 5 pack. Not bad I thought? I love cheap stuff :D

Oh, just wanted to say as well, don't pay over the odds for 510 carts, they are well expensive and a 901 cart will fit just fine, better taste too I've read on their forum. Crash will be along soon, he's the master at cheap stuff:p

Think poor old crash stuck at work :D

I just bought 50x 510 carts same price empty or pre filled so might as well have filled ones? they cost $21 which equates to aroud £15-16 ! So no need to hang on to them for days and days ha-ha!

I got them from ruyan direct with some other bits and delivered to UK in 7 days! The only thing is postage is same for one item or quite a few so not viable if just buying carts!

Lol well it cant just be cheap, you need to find a balance between cheap and quality. For example if you invest in a SD i think its 100 pounds, all you'll ever really need is a new atty every month and loads of juice, vs a 901 new atty once a month new battery every 2 months i'd say or less. 4 batteries for sd cost about 6 dollars, 901 battery will cost you 8 usd i think. So in the long run owning the sd would be more economical, well unless you break it a month later lol. Nice to see I have a follower, you should check out my blow for all my reviews, lol did a review on roast chicken liquid just last night :p

I must admit Crash I did spend a while thinking should I type inexpensive, not cheap, but in the end I didn't think anyone would notice and inexpensive is a bit long. That's what I meant. The SD looks a bit of kit and what you are saying is right on the money. Is that a review on the juice by decandant vapours?

i think by now you should have coped on lol Crash = not spending that much for e juice when he can make at at home, so nope made it myself, also posted the recipe for it. haha cheap is right that other word is too damn long to type out oh and i forgot for the sd hits the right spot when im vaping, but some other people prefer different mods so its up to you what you'd wana get really

I'm a fairly new to the site as well & I've been scouring the forums for various bits of Info as I've used all my original carts. If you go to the Tips & Tricks forum there's a bit of a debate going on with the post - Microfiber and Braided Fiberglass Cartridge Filler with some interesting suggestions flying about,or I'm quite sure that a couple of the experienced UK forum guys will chip in with their tips.I'm going to try the tip that someone gave by cutting the little knobs off the flourescant car washing mitt to see how that pans out as I've loads of them kicking around in my garage.

I do most of my vaping in front of my monitor or netbook, so i've ordered a USB passthrough for home use and ill keep my batteries for when i'm out. My 510 batts will have a lot longer lifespan that way. Absolutely no point in multiple charges daily when i'm next to a USB port.

Okay for all the newbies
The empty carts you order will come with filler inside them, once that goes bad you pyramid tea bags they work great

For high quality pass thoughts check out this site www.e-cigcity.co.uk they come with a 1 yr warranty

If you want something with a big battery life, and you're willing to make the initial investment but a mod, garry's torch mod, gg, sd, prodigy, sb, copper and so on you get the point. They will save you loads of money in the long run

As far as juice goes but it from wherever you want, tw is coming out with juice that will be made in the uk, most other suppliers juice is from china, so just order from china direct i use eastmall and ruyan direct.

I can answer that one for Crash. He means using Liptons pyramid tea bag material as a filler for carts. Wide spread practice as they are made of a material that can be rinsed and re-used. They also wick very well. If you search "liptons" you will find loads of info.
