The carts life span depends on how wet you keep them. If you smoke it dry, it will damage the fibers in the cart and the liquid will get trapped. You can take the cart insert out and flip it though.
Roughly 5-6 times.
The best way to go it to not use carts at all and just drip 3 drops in the atomizer. Taste and vapor is 5 times better.

Yep, that'll do it. The way I use mine is to vape a cart 'til it's gone a bit dry and then top it off with liquid until it looks moist, not soaked. That way you don't over dry and overheat your cart wick, they seem to last longer that way. at least for me. What kind of e-cig do you have?

Okay, if I want to drip on the atomizer, do I use the empty shell of a cartridge? without the wool?

I have a 901b.

I am completely obsessive about using it. I want it to replace smoking, but it's not working too well.

I crave real smoke. I love real smoke.

vaping seems so far like a lot of work, which makes me obsess even more. I am chasing that full feeling I get when smoking, and vaping isn't quite the same.

I'm not giving up yet though.

I used to joke and say smoking helped me control my obsessive compulsive disorder. Maybe that wasn't a joke.

Thanks for the replies.

I've got the same. The atomizer on DSE901 is one of the best, I'd suggest getting some higher strength e-liquid. Look for 24mg or 36mg. puresmoker.com and litecigusa.com are the 2 that spring to mind. If 36mg strength doesn't do it for you, nothing will. I don't think there'll ever be a higher strength than that.
