CASAA will hold its next member meeting this Sunday, June 5,2011 at 730PM EST. Please contact us at board@casaa.org if you want to confirm your attendance and/or have any questions.
CASAA is a group of active volunteers who tirelessly work to educate the public about smoke free alternatives to smoking and to protect the rights of vapers and other smokeless tobacco users. The proposed bans (primarily indoor use and sales bans) keep stacking up and, to date, CASAA has been extremely successful in its efforts to combat them. But, our efforts extend beyond that of simply fighting the proposed legislation. Therefore, the active participation of our membership is critical.
As it stands, some of the best and brightest vapers in our community regularly attend the meetings. CASAA board members and active members sit down and discuss important issues and the CASAA board gives the membership updated information regarding the decisions and actions of the board. These meetings also give CASAA members the opportunity to voice their opinions, ideas and concerns.
As for Teamspeak, here are the directions for installing and using the program(these steps only have to be done once):
Download the TeamSpeak 32-bit or 64-bit Client from TeamSpeak - Downloads
An icon will be created on your desktop, click it and the wizard will open to create your account. Please select the push-to-talk option as we could easily end up with dozens (or more) people in the room at one time. We also recommend using a key other than the space bar for your push-to-talk.
