My take is Cass' situation with her protege not working and someone sending her a working mod is this....Mwhales-VERY nice of you indeed! However, it STILL leaves her with a non working protege. She still has questions unanswered on that aspect. Will she have a mod that works? sure, but its not the protege she spent her money on in the first place. I agree a mech switch would solve it all but if PS wont send her one, shes left without a working unit and should sell it to someone whos willing to buy the mech switch for it and get her money back that she invested.

I see ur point 420 and Id agree only if the mod she was sent was a protege, but its an Xhaler....

PS has always treated me well, but thats me. If I were in Cass' shoes Id be upset aas well. Thats all, hope everyone can come to a resolution soon

Forget this. All I have tried to do is show a 3rd party perspective on this thing. I have read everything, in every thread related to this subject.

Your right....I don't own this thread.....this forum....this Sub_Forum...nothing. But I do own an honest opinion. Guess that ain't worth anything here either. Y'all can keep the arguement going and PS's name can keep getting drilled in the dirt and Cass can keep going on an on about how she deserves warranty on stuff she bought second hand.
She can keep making multiple threads on it and everyone can keep the same fight going in all of them. I don't care.

It will be a cold day in HELL before I try to help a situation along. I was trying to get Cass happy....Get PS happy....and END all this bickering.

I now have learned to just keep my mouth shut. Thanks for the lesson, Vapor Trail.

I don't see how my light-hearted "pick me" took anything away from the discussion until you made it. Then you told me twice (please, or no please) not to say it. I took offense to that.

"I took offense to that"......Blah, Blah, Blah. You took offense cause you want to take it that way. I'm not telling you what to say.......I was ASKING that you RESPECT the discussion enough not to do it. ASKING is not TELLING. It is ASKING!!

And as far as your words of wisdom.............take them to someone who cares!!! Nobody would have to "take the bullets" if people would listen instead of popping off at the mouth for no good reason.

The leg, though? I am SOOOOO ready to cut it off and be done with it! Surgery is Weds. and I'm sire it will be just fine. Speaking of the leg......Time to eat my pain meds!! YAY!!!!!

I was essentially showing you some sympathy, and agreeing that yes, sometimes it's better not to try to solve disputes between others as you can end up getting it from both sides.

I still don't see how my "pick me" warranted all the drama. It would have been my only post in this thread if you hadn't told me to basically .... out, but whatever. I'm done.

I have read this thread a few times cause I have read how cass covers other posts in other threads. I knew that what happened she would be semi happy about but is wonder why one person told her one thing and now another is saying another now that she has put it on the forums.
I have to say I understand where vaper is coming from I am the guy that does something so off topic to try to mellow stuff down, but in a computer forum it really don't help anything.

This is going back to the issues on the supplier forum of why is stuff only taken care of when a company or product is called out.

One lil post on my part isn't me stirring anything. Talking to him the way I did in that last post was taking it far.....But I have tried to remain calm during his unhelpful rebuttles. I spoke with good sense and good manners til the his last post. I tried the baby talk to see if that might get thru to him......knowing it was to much, but still doing it. I'm just tired of him coming in here and twisting up what I say.
I am not the kind of person who just trolls this forum looking to start trouble. I am a productive, informative member who was simply trying to help out. If you can't tell the difference between someone who has been level headed til pushed to the limit and someone is just trying to start junk....well then, I'm Sorry.
Check my posts on ECF and tell me how many times you see me just starting crap with other members. We have posted in some of the same threads and I don't think you could find 10 posts where I am "trolling" or starting "flame wars". This is gonna end up with me getting another warning....I know it will, but I am not gonna tolerate his mess. I've already asked a mod to review this entire thread, (admitted that the issue with Vapor Trail is getting out of hand) and let me know if I was rule breaking up until Vapor Trail started this whole thing. You can PM me with you comments if you like......I'm no longer discussing the issue in this thread.

I have tried. I also agree that this is not going to end well.

Because of that, I am no longer in this topic. I PM'd Cass to let her know that I am no longer here to support her or to try and help the situation between her and PS. I thought I was being a kind, informative forum member by trying to see her point and PureSmokers point, and give a constant 3rd party opinion. But due to the situation with Vapor Trail.....I can no longer be that 3rd party. Angus, I would not be opposed to you deleting all the "back and forth" between V.T. and I cause it has no relavence to the thread or its topic.

just fyi, tact switches aren't "defective". mine has worked perfectly from day one, on my Prodigy and Protege.

there's also a helpful "how to" guide in the subforum with tips and tricks on how to get them working if you encounter problems. seemed to work for a lot of people.

Know why people get banned from ECF? Because they don't know when to shut the hell up. We even have an infraction for it now...it's called beating a dead horse.

Cass has a problem....she has made her points clear....it is between her and Steve now...so give them a chance to work it out.

420, you gave your advice....it's here to read if anyone cares to take it into consideration....you made your point.

Nothing more can be done about this right now since it looks like Steve isn't around. And it's not going to become a free-for-all because he can't respond.

I am closing this thread and when Steve gets back on, he can take up what he feels he needs to with Cass. Meanwhile, I don't expect any more threads to be opened about this topic.
