So, a local B&M had one bottle of five pawns Castle Long Reserve left from the last batch. I said that I would never buy it because it is too expensive, but I said WTH I'll give it a go and see what the fuss is all about.

JEEEEZZ!! It's so good! I have alot of juice in my collection right now. From some very good vendors. Nothing holds a candle to this IMO. Now, this is like the perfect combo for me, Almond, 2 different vanillas, bourbon, coconut and OAK!! It's so clean, smooth, and satisfying.

Please please please tell me that there's something regularly available that's at least in the ballpark!

Thanks

No... there is nothing even close... makes me sad too.

I'd vape it all day, every day if it was maybe $15 less than it is.

Have you tried their Gambit?
It's also something very special, it's also pretty expensive, but not as bad as Castle Long.

I've been vaping on Gambit the past week after looking for an apple vape, and hot damn, that is some GOOD juice. I just finished through the 30ml bottle I got last week today. It's gotta be the best juice I've tried so far by a mile.

It's so damn good, that I'm willing to cut down on other purchases to make it part of my adv rotation lolol.

But yeah, even as much as I love it, I acknowledge it's priced a bit too high, but it's worth every penny imo. Got some more coming in along with CLR and Grandmaster. If those are even half as good as Gambit was to me, Five Pawns might be my go to vendor, even if it means I'll be broke soon enough haha.. Hopefully they get become big and prices start to lower a bit..

I'm a sampler girl. I've ordered so many samples from so many popular vendors it's ridiculous. I love the 5 Pawns line. I haven't been able to get my hands on a bottle of Castle Reserve yet...but I love all the other ones in their line. Top quality juice that they make themselves that steep in oak barrels. Nothing like it, anywhere. :p

Unless I'm mistaken, only the Castle Long is steeped in barrels. I have some, and it's good, but pretty mild. The Gambit really blows me away however. I didn't cotton to it at first. But now, I love it. I have a 30ml bottle of each. And 4ml bottles of the other four. Aren't those cute little $4.60 bottles?

Didn't like the mint, which isn't surprising, I just don't like mint. And it can't be washed out. Not by hot water, not by soap, not by 99.5% isopropyl alcohol, and not by 95% neutral grain spirits. What happens in mint, stays in mint!

best regards, larry mac

I suppose a DIY-er could try making a blend of toasted almond, boubon vanilla, coconut, and french vanilla. Vaping Zone sells a Oak flavoring.

Once can always try . . .

Personally, I was kind of "meh" on CLR - for the price, I just couldn't justify it.

It wouldn't be the same... CLR uses real vanilla... And you can't oak flavor your way to that sort of depth... Or making aged bourbon would be easy.

BTW, anyone who liked Castle Long Reserve before, needs to try the new batch.... They changed the vanilla... And as good as it was before... It's better now, richer.

I lucked out today at the company Tasting room and got bottle #2 out of the House barrel of the new batch.
