It's just a matter of retreading them to smoth them out and replace the screws with a m3 screw that is full sized. I haven't seen any of xterm cases yet but if I do they will be sent back to from whence they came. By the sounds of it Spydro may have an extreme case and I believe those are inbound.
I have now had a chance to re-work most of the ones I have in stock. I have figured out the issue, the mistake JDTech made was the order of operations and skipping a finishing step. What they did was threaded the posts first and cross drilled the coil holes second and left it at that. These should have all been re-tapped and had the coil holes cleaned up before shipping to me. The issue stems from the swarf from the coil holes drilling has lipped over into the threads, this normally wouldn't be an issue if the holes were drilled with a sharp end mill, but it seems they were drilled with either a somewhat sharp drill bit or a dull end mill. Simply cleaning up,the coil holes and following up with chasing the threads makes them perfect. I have sent out about 10 of the corrected attys with zero issues.Not yet Tom, but they will be soon. They have been packaged up since we last exchanged email on 10/20. But I have been dealing with some med issues since that made my going to a PO to mail them not an option. I will LYK via email when they get shipped and are due to get to you. Please see if you can fix them as they should have been or better to be reliable for the long haul. I hope you can and can return them to me soon. If not and JD Tech will be in the mix, please just mail the full refund you offered me. LMK either way by email. Thanks.

I'd like to get a peek at the inside of the top cap. The air flow looks to be a wee bit north of an Odin. If there's room between the post for say a 3mm Z coil, with the air hitting both sides of the coil, I'd say we'd have another winner. Digging the deep well and the air flow adjustment looks to be slick.
I personally don't see how it wouldn't be. Think Stumpy with focused direct air at the single coil but still has the ability to do dual coil as well with the cap turned 90 degres. Brilliant idea.Personally, I'm hoping for a good MTL flavor atty with of the NarDa.

You will benefit from less frequent battery changes...What's your guys' experience with the ideal ohm range with the cam-m. I build what some would call higher ohm coils, between .8-1 ohm. Am I not able to take full advantage of the cam-m because of my higher ohms?
It won't be as significant as it would with lower resistance coils, but you'll experience less voltage drop too.
