Catfish Atty Mods the next Chapter

The Shingen demos arrived today, the center pin looks like an m2 making it a no go unless I can re-bore and thread them for at least m2.5 or even better m3.

I will say these look like they were made in the same factory as the Vector; meaning that they are machined beautifully, no manta or hastur weirdness. Looks like another catfish exclusive, no one else is going to rethread and make pins for this. It's just not worth the time and aggravation for anyone else.

I would be interested in your thoughts on one in BF format before deciding.

Yes sir. Two regular and two LXV editions. Probably the easiest of all the 2 post attys to build on. I still have one that I use occasionally, well built atty.

What is the difference between the regular and LXV editions?

The lxv version is 120 the standard is 100, the only difference is the lxv logo. I would suggest the standard. Have you met Cody Howard? He lives in your hometown.

I don't hear a lot of buzz about the Solstice but if you're on the fence, send Tom your money. I really like mine a lot. Build quality is there, flavor is there and all the airflow one could ask for. Mine has been on the dually since the day it arrived. It's like the Stumpys big mean brother.

Harry has agreed to do another run of gold and/or black Stumpys these will not have "Catfish BF edition" on them like the first round. I have to order them in 50 piece blocks, payment isn't due until the minimum is met.
