I had to adjust my 510 as well. There's an allen hole in the middle of the 510. You just need to get the second largest tip for the wrench and it's pretty easy going from there [emoji3]

Master of Bassets...and not much else
thank you. that was easy.

Is this top airflow?

Can't remember now.
Hey inspects, it's side airflow but located more towards the top if that makes any difference. I wish this one and he NarDa had more info so we could give a more definite. I am waiting for Tom's trials on this one to determine if it's a definite for me.

I really love the look of the Solstice. And TBH I sound like a freak but I'd love a new atty. It's been a long time since I got a new atty (not really but true in the sense of a new model atty I've never had before). I'm just stuck on top airflow because I always manage to make side airflow leak. When I'm backpacking that top airflow comes in handy. And I've fallen into Vector mania. I almost exclusively vape at .3 with 24g coils these days. My other attys can't even handle that, so when a day comes of a new top air atty with good airflow and the ability to use aftermarket drip tips, I'll be excited for a new atty. In the meantime I sit here somewhat envious of these solstices, they look pretty awesome.

Like the sloth, I'm really liking my top fed atties. The only side air atty I own that I just don't have leaking problems with is the Stumpy. I love my Vector a lot, and also my 2 Hasturs. I appreciate a great atty that I am not constantly having to wipe down and clean my mod. I do like my Derringers, but have leaking problems with those. I used to use my Freakshow minis a lot, but now are pretty much retired as they leak just looking at them wrong. I'm pretty much swearing off of side air atties except for the Stumpy.

Leaking has long been a part of the game. Usually it comes from over squonking / loading or not pulling the wick dry enough before pocketing the mod. I don't seem to have the problem so much in the deeper welled side air fed attys as I do in the shallower ones. For this, I have been using two things. (1st) I carry a hanky or micro fiber towel with me, but in the case of the (2nd) ( pocketing the mod) I've been using a vape band to slide up and cover the intakes with great success.

I completely agree. Also before pocketing I vape it till it starts to become dry. That way no leakage in your pocket.

But I do like the band trick if you don't have time to vape it almost dry.

Prior to getting my Cam-m the other day. I had read all the posts of crunchy buttons, not firing etc. etc. So I had to stop myself from slappin an atty on there and lettin it rip.

I fully disassembled and cleaned out a few metal shavings, debured some of the edges. I also payed special attention to the button and the aluminum around the button. Which makes for buttery smooth button. I have no issues with any of this because I'm kinda OCD about it anyways and in my eyes this was a steal for $100. Thanks Tom:thumbs:

After cleaning all contacts I added some deoxit and this thing vapes like a champ. I mounted the hobo v3.1 with a single 22g coil at 0.26:vapor:

Leaking has always been part of the game, or the avoidance of it. But with some of the newer attys, leaking is more avoidable than its been in the past; due to a few top air attys, and deeper wells. The Thump is a fairly shallow well atty, but due to the top air design, it's pretty leak proof. I don't think I've had either of mine leak a drop. Aside from the fact that it's a great flavor atty, one reason I like the Manta is because you could practically carry it around upside down, and it won't leak.

I like top air also but if you like flavor with your clouds side air wins thus far. I like the Thump, the Manta isn't bad but I like more air than any of those can provide. I see the Solstice being a great fit for me. The NarDa is more aimed at those that like less air and flavor in lieu of huge clouds. I want both clouds and flavor in a small package so the Stumpy reigns supreme. I have great hope for the 2 freshmen attys. The solstice should have been here Wednesday or Thursday the NarDa is stil a week or 2 out.

Speaking of leaking....does anyone know the size of the o-ring on the top cap of a Stumpy?

I need to get a size larger.

Mine fall off as soon as I put a mod in my pocket with a Stumpy perched.

Do what now? Loose o-rings on a stumpy? All of mine are stupid tight, I have actually had complaints that they were too tight.

You literally can carry the manta upside down and it won't leak, as my gf has discovered.
