It's a real bummer that ECF won't let us sell our bf modded clones in the classified section. I have a few I would love to offload (rogue included...)

Try a drip tip with a wide shoulder that puts pressure on the afc. MFlux works well. The topic came up a few pages ago. Solutions were posted.

Okay you rogue fans, tell me what I'm missing... I just can't find a sweet spot on mine. for one, the sharp edges on the barrel are shredding the o rings. The AFC seems to do nothing. I can spin the top portion 360 degrees and the draw is always super airy. The vape is anemic at best. I've tried several coil configuration, my standard duels at 0.4 ohms, higher and lower resistances but nothing feels right. Raised coils, lower to the deck, nada. Tried standard drip tips, wide bore and a loki router. No matter what I feel like this thing is just drawing air from all over and diluting the vapor. Oh, and to top it all off the center post spins before I can fully tighten the leads. Did I get a lemon or is there something I'm missing?

I'm having the same issue. My center post spins, and the AFC is poor. I've since gone back to my veritas. At this point I use my rogue as a standard dripper for days I feel like cloud chasing.

Tighten the screw in the 510 as suggested. There is no reason for that to be an issue. The afc issue has been discussed solutions given. I'm still rocking my demo and loving it. Granted I use it for my strong juices to smooth them out a little. If you would like to trade for a Vertex I think it would make you happier, I will trade you my vertex demo for your Rogue demo.

I've tried doing it alrdy. Tightening the screw in the 510 makes the center post spin in the other direction.

I'll check out the vertex

I thought you were getting more of these for mistakes and samples.

I did... There is only 23 on the list... Actually 31 coming.

My PayPal account is looking a little thin right now.... It's been an expensive day.

The authentic Zeniths also had oversized threads that I had a hard time even getting the tapered die onto, way out of spec threads.

I can completely vouch for the Zenith v2.5 threads being screwball. CH made them thread perfect onto my REOs, when before they wouldn't screw down even far enough to make an electrical connection.

I'm not saying rebuild of the threads on your RDA is the best fix for an Odin or anything else, but was certainly the trick on those two Zeniths I have. Was well worth sending in to have him evaluate/fix since I was so very close to giving up having them ever work on my bf mods.

I'm not understanding the problems some of you have been having with the Rogue. I have mine set at .34ohms now, and the coils set just below the centerpost screws in line with the afc slot. I am using an MFlux ss tip, although I have used another tip on it and don't notice a whole lot of difference. As far as airiness, for me, it's perfect at wide open. After reading your post, I did rotate it and it tightened up the airflow somewhat, but not really tight. Also, my center post is fine. I am loving this Rogue and been using it since I built it. For me, it's a super atty. Getting great flavor and vapor out of it. No complaints.

Agreed.... It seems like there are people looking for nearly Cyclone tightness from a 22mm, if so the Rogue is not your atty. For that you would need a more efficient afc; the Vertex and the N22 come to mind. I can dial either of these to MTL tightness although thats not something I personally enjoy. The Rogue has taught me that I enjoy small chambers with good air flow. I suppose Pwheeler and I have similar hopes and expectations from an atty.
That said maybe Kiwi and Hildecat would be better servedby paying closer attention to the likes of Kentastic's and Train's opinions and perspectives as I recall they enjoy the tighter stuff where taste is all that matters and airflow takes a back seat. As a lot of you guys have noticed the Veritas bridges the gap between both camps if coiled correctly.
Even the Mephisto has an inefficient afc but it seems to be well recieved, which is surprising considering its lackluster afc, the Vertex has similar dimensions with regard to chamber size and overall size but with an afc that allows both extremes in airflow. The Vertex also lacks the massive coil holes that the Mephisto has. I'm betting BeckDg would enjoy it also.

Suppose they insert a tiny screwdriver or Allen wrench into the squonk hole or wire hole to keep the post from turning while tightening the bottom?

I haven't tried mine yet but I put a protank tip that covers the seam and dialed zero air and I have lung hitting flow, I am not mistaken about this, maybe some of us are getting lemons. I will soak the o-rings in juice to see if they tighten up; maybe also try another top. :bummer:

Edit: tried each top, same effect, full air or no air same air flow. I don't think the inner surfaces are mating. Going to try a layer of plastic wrap...simply laid a single layer and wiggled the top on, no holes in plastic for air holes; the top cleanly cut the plastic around the drip tip hole, air flow now ~50% restricted. Not sure what to think, need to find the caliper.
