It was the only thing I didn't like about it. I sold mine but it's not the Mephisto fault but my in experience in all attys but the RM2 which is the only atty I knew (Hornet excluded) I'm slowly learning what I like and don't and in that process I'll keep sending $ TO CH till I do.

I'm thinking of setting up direct deposit to Tom! I want to try them all, and make up my mind afterwards. Another big thing about the Rogue, I didn't mention, but it a biggie for me...NO LEAKS!! Not one drop anywhere on that or my Reo. That says a lot to me. We all have different needs in our gear, different vaping styles. You'll hit on something that is just perfect for you, Gil. All attys aren't the same for everyone. I am doing my best to find what I like from each atty I buy.

I couldnt get the AFC to seal either but I do find a noticeable difference in flavor with different settings. But I'm a lung hitter so I like it the way it is, especially the no leaking part. When I get some more machines I might try skimming one of the caps to tighten up the tolerance which I'm sure will make a difference. It's kind of a bummer to have to do that though.

I lubed. Put the afc cap on upside down, the center clearly protrudes but is level right side up. Does this indicate an inner gap, keeping the afc wide open no matter the setting?

I think this points out the problem. I'm tempted to plane one of my caps by sanding it down to see if that does the trick.

I see and understand the requests for the trade forum, but I don't think ECF is going to go for it. I was banished from the classifieds by CW based on the logic that once I drill and or modify an atty the Atty becomes my creation and therefore I am a supplier; OK, I get that much. But when you attempt to sell (MY) atty that according to CW is no longer a VA atty or any other clone or authentic there is an issue. It seems to be a classic have your cake and eat it too scenario. Double edged sword also comes to mind. I don't forsee an amiable solution on the horizon. I/we are in their sandbox and they create the rules. If it were up to me you could trade here on my forum, selling outright maybe not so much but you can't do that on Reo Trade nor Nicoticket Trade either. I believe part of it comes down to the fact that ReoMods and Nicoticket pay a lot more for there unlimited space than I pay for mine. Simple economics and I understand that part. What vexes me however is the fact that my customers have be ostracized from the Classifieds, by their logic the atty is a Chowderhead1972 or Catfish Atty Mods atty much like an RM2- RM6 which are also clones and readily accepted on the classifieds. Perhaps I need to assign them CAM numbers. I bet it still wouldn't make a difference.
I have created a culture where we are no longer treated as second class citizen in our choices of attys. Apparently the price of that culture is not having an open market like everyone else where you guys can sell your buyers remorseful proceeds.
How about this: if you have one of mine that you are looking to trade put it in your sig line in a way that is not directly marketing it. I would suggest using words like adopt, rehome, and audition but not for sale, trade offer, etc. the beauty of the Bottom fed world is that most of my PEEPs are much more mature and have the intelect to read between the lines to understand the unwritten message.

Not likely partially due to I won't recieve them until the 1st of January after the Christmas blow out is over. However if you are interested in an Infinite CLTv2 (which is not a clone and therefore sellable on the Classifieds if you were so inclined) I am very motivated.

You can sell clones on classifieds. Just can't sell counterfeit (1:1). If you remove all identifying marks you are good. If u notice Rob cuts the atomic afc down to remove markings to make It a rm4.

I can order them that way also but I have to order 500 at a time to do so, that would make trying the new stuff nearly impossible unless everyone started buying 10 of each atty at a time. If I could move that volume we would have 18mm unmarked everything. Maybe some day but as it stands I'm capped at about 60 of each model before it loses it sparkle. This is why Rob sticks to 5 core attys and I am able to follow the trends as well as bottom feed attys that are considered impossible to bottom feed like the Hobo or the Veritas. I will eat my hat when Rob offers either of them.

And thank you, again, for that, sir. The newly relocated Mephi is sitting atop a reo, looking regal and chucking the vapor (as the kewl kids say). Super atty for my vape style. I liked it so much that I picked up another from CH along with a N22 and Veritas (the latter being wack... just wack... to build on). Different strokes, and all that, but it's wonderful to be in the world of 'good to great' vape adjustments, as opposed to 'crappy to okay'.

CH started out with a vision - bf for all. I think we'd all agree he's realized that.

Well that's not completely true. I asked about selling a cloupour 30 watts mod, and I was forbidden, although neither the box nor the chip hold any logos. Go figure.

See...if there is a will there is a way. I must have sold 10+ REOs and other items without the use of the classifieds. I don't use the word circumvent because that implies doing something illegal. It just requires trust and a good reputation and a pinch ingenuity.

I've bought, sold, traded stuff off classifieds just by comments I've made. Others picked up on it and PM'd me and we did the thing that way. I certainly won't circumvent the rules either, but stuff we can't legally sell can be done between folks.
