Just got my vertex and marquis...

The vertex.... Wow. I love the size of the post holes; they're not as ridiculously sized as the mephisto. I'm thoroughly surprised by how reduced the chamber actually is. Gonna build it in a bit but I have no doubt in my mind it's gonna be epic. My orings and everything have the perfect snugness too.

Chowder question on the marquis: was the Squonk hole meant to sit this far up...? I'm not sure how this can drain well without leaving a ton of juice behind

I guess oring tolerance is as subjective as flavor. Or mine is defective, which I somehow highly doubt.

I'm in and out of a truck all day, doing various physical tasks. Since I've been home, I just put it in my pocket to see how it would do. While chasing my 1 year old around the house, the top cap has came loose about 4 times now.. I've been home since 430. I changed the oring like CH suggested. No better, no worse. It is what it is though. Great flavor atty, I'm just coming to the conclusion it's gonna be a leave at home kinda thing. Not trying to fight a top cap all day everyday. Shoulda put a dual oring setup on this one, woulda been the perfect atty. IMO.

Oh chowder. You're right again. The marquis is a damn fine vape. Currently have it built to 0.4 ohm and 3.8V on my sig100. I have it fully opened up, and it is the perfect draw for me.

The vapor production is good. Flavor is excellent, and im getting good heat. Damn easy to build the dual verticals too

Have you tried adding a loop of dental floss under the oring?

Mine came with the red oring installed. That one ripped when I was removing it. I ended up using the black spare. It is a little loose for some people. I can def see that. But I'm obsessed with removing my top cap and checking my coils once in a while so I guess it's good for me. The oring "fix" does wonders tho!

Looks great on the Reo!

But it takes very little to make the cap tilt like this. Mine also came with the red one installed, I switched it to see if the black was any better. No real difference that I can tell. This is all a matter of preference, my vape style and every day use just requires some more tolerable. I feel like I could shake this thing one good time and the top cap would fall off.

Oh man that's a bigger bummer than I originally thought.
So let's discuss fixes. Is there an oring I could go buy to make this cap fit more snug. My job has me moving constantly as well

The future is bleak...

I don't have time right now, but I'm gonna try the dental floss fix and see what happens. I'll give it a shot tonight and keep you updated. I'm kinda bummed as well, but not giving up on it yet.

I think you should have a Kiwi Atomizer Review YouTube Channel, full of 3 second video clips that all look like that.
LOL

Hahahahaha tbh I posted those because I just found out you can post videos using tapatalk! Hehe.

It's only a matter of time.
And probably not much time either!

Haha im just super enticed by being able to see my coil while I fire and Squonk! Not a fan of the deck design tho, since im always over squonking.

Please add me to the Lancia list. I like the design factor....viewable juice level and under coil air flow. Generally like smaller attys for max flavor. How is the flavor production on the Lancia?

Flavor is ridiculous... at least compared to every other dripper I own (with the possible exception of the Derringer).

I love that glass chamber... please tell me it's 20mm or less diameter, if so, I need one.

The Lancia is 22mm.

I whined to my supplier about the red o-rings and I will have replacements sent with the Lancias.

I've heard so many great things about the vertex.
No matter which atty I use i wind up over Squonking. So I'm used to just wiping juice away from the airholes

The future is bleak...

Just a heads up.. Dental floss does tighten up the top cap. Not sure if it can stay put the way I need it too, but it does make a noticeable difference. I may take it to work with me tomorrow, but I have hard time leaving my Plume Veil at home. The Vertex is nice, but honestly (and again I'm probably the only one) I'm in love with the PV.. It gives me the best flavor I've ever gotten from any atty. Vertex included.
