Catfish atty mods.

I've no problems with my RM4 at all. In fact, I got an Odin yesterday, and have a 454 bottom fed and I still think I like the Atomic the best. The small form factor and the ability to do dual coils, it's almost the perfect atomizer for my vape style.

If I could design my perfect atty for my own use, I would make myself a 19mm Odin and skip the single coil option on it and make it dual coil only.

I think in the sub 19mm native single coil bottom fed world there are lots of options already. Cyclone, Reactor, Divo, Chalice, RM2, Rm3 maybe some I'm forgetting.

For the native dual coil crowd who would like an atty that fits a Reo allowing the door to slide up and not overhanging the top deck, there is really only one option that I can think of and that is the Atomic.

I guess I will add my 2 cents, I love my Atomic's. I did have one of the negative posts come out on me, but I generally only use single coil so no big deal. My latest atty is the Cyclone with AFC. I think the Cyclone and the Atomic are pretty close in my humble opinion.

Mine happened because the allen wrench got stuck in one of the grubs and instead of gently rocking it back and forth to get it loose, I just yanked on it and the whole post came out. I know better now and don't have that problem.

One more reactor setup for a morning puffer.

Also took out cooper99 per last update request.

Tightening down 24 gauge coils or larger twisted wire with the post holes being up on the top half of already tall posts, seems to put a lot of force against where the negative posts are pressed into the deck. I'm probably "using it wrong", but like I said, I've got through three of them with the same issue. I chalk it up to the cheaper quality of the clone combined with extra tall posts and my own ham-fistedness, but then I also had one that I luckily was able to exchange because one of the posts was cocked (snicker) at enough of an angle that the post screws were actually touching. I just seem to have bad luck with Atomic clones. I should get an RM4 from Rob or one from Chowder and see if I have the same problems. What I would love is to find an authentic and have it catfished. Bet you I wouldn't have any problems with those posts..... so far I've only been able to find one authentic Atomic and it would be about $120 shipped. Too rich for my blood.

I have a great idea that does exactly that. I have wanted to try it, but there was never any interest or need to keep everything closer to the deck. This might be the time. I plan on making a few different fully functional prototypes that will be shown and then everyone can chime in and decide which direction is the best. I'm thinkin that we may end up needing a vote lol!

Maybe the problem isn't the posts on the Atomic, but rather the 24g wire you are using... Just a thought... I've got one I don't use anymore and used down to twisted 27g wire in it and the posts are fine on it. I mostly used just single 27/28g wire in it usually though. PM me you info and i'll send it to you if you want it...

Are these Divo's authentic?

Without a Doubt..

The First order arrived today, 25 pristine new Divos and 15 pristine new Reactors.
These will be drilled and shipped ASAP. I might be one or two short on this order to fill the list but I have a second order direct from VA that shipped Yesterday via DHL that could be here as soon as Friday. The second order of 20 Divos will leave me with a surplus according to the list.

The clone box just cleared customs in Cincinnati, might be here tomorrow definitely by Friday.

If they were both drilled they were not stock. The reactor comes with one drilled hole (tiny) and a dimple (for easier drilling) on the other side. The last time I sold them I drilled them to #54.
