I think the difference between Zenith v2.5 and v2 is pretty much the bf option. The delrin insulator on the top cap is supposed to be better on the v2.5 and is white in color rather than black. Can't recall anything else different ATM.

I haven't heard of a clone of the v2.5 yet but if someone finds one I'd be interested in checking it out. Maybe the clone will have better 510 threading. [emoji6]

I like the Divo the best of my BF atties, but it doesn't give the flavor I have been getting from my Kayfuns, nautilus tanks, and Magma clone. I want an atty for my Reo that has air coming from the bottom of the coil like the the Magma. Is there anything about the magma that makes it a little impractical as a BF?

It sits flush on all three of my SL/LP Grands...

The flush question is asked frequently but there is truly no definitive answer. The current 510 on any Reo will crush to your atty however it doesn't snap back as well as most would like. If there is an atty that you want to keep on your Reo almost any atty will stretch the 510 to the point it will work perfectly and flush. The real problem lies in going back to a shorter 510'ed atty after a longer atty. The bushing just doesn't snap back and requires a trip to the Spa. If you want to preserve your 510 you will need attys with a throat of less than 4mm which is a short and boring list. Almost all of my attys are 5mm +\- .1mm. If you stick with 5mm depth attys you should have no problem. The issue comes up when going back to a shallow throat atty. My personal Reos have 5mm throats so almost anything fits flush.

The option is yours, either use a 1- 1.5mm oring as a spacer and or leave a gap to retain a perfect 510. The other option is stretch to 5mm and know that if you want to go back to a shallow atty you will have to send it for a re-bush.

Where do you install the o-ring? Always been confused by this. Do you put it on the pin inside the 510 connection in the reo? (As in lift the pin up and put it around it?)

The first time I over screwed something into the reo to make it flush, it lead to leaks into the bottle area. After replacing the pin, it looked like that thin plastic washer around the post had gotten bent and wouldn't sit flush. Since then, I simply leave the little bit of space and don't make wanting sit flush if I face any resistance.

Welcome home Tom.

Tom modded an Atomic for me and I also got a PlumeVeil and a CLT from him.

Most of us know how the Atomic vapes and it is really nice as a BF. Rob has a clone the RM4. Squonk and vape, squonk and vape. Love it!!

The PlumeVeil is amazing! The 3 different airflow adjustments are fun to play with. The delryn top cap insulator thingy is really cool. It adjust airflow coming through the top cap holes, keeps drip tips cool and varies the size of the chamber. As I said in previous posts, this PV doesn't thread on my brand new LP but does on 2 older REO's I have. The original PV made by Aethertech has this problem and has a warning on their website that the v2.5 may not screw in to REO's. If Infinite copied the 510 exactly, this may be the prob.

The CLT is a Beast!! Remember this is not a clone, it's an Infinite original. Granted they took the best aspects from 3 other popular attys. I like everything about this atty. The cooling fins, knurled top cap, drip tip, extra large cloud chasing cyclops airhole slits, domed inner top cap for better flavor and easy to build. The build quality is impeccable! Oh yea, it looks bad Ayuss!!

I also have an Odin and have been comparing all 4 of these attys. I have the same .5ohm dual coil builds in all 4. Using the same 6mg juice.

I love all 4 of these attys. The Atomic has always been a great atty but it's a bit old school now. The PlumeVeil is the most advanced and because of the negative post airflow and adjustable chamber has the nod on taste, but not by much. The Odin is an excellent atty and everyone should own one.

But the atty that really amazes me is the CLT. This is a $30 authentic atty and it kicks ..... Yeah, 30 bucks!! Of course that's top feed but that's cheap. I just can't get over how nice this atty is.

So my recommendation is buy at least one of each!! Wasn't much help, was I??

And of course, Tom thanx for the outstanding job on the modifications. Just by looking at them I can tell they must have been a real pain!!

I agree across the board! Including the Odin part. I wanted to hate it and it is a pain to coil the first time (destroyed 7 pairs of coils trying to get it right) but once built it's a great atty.

And a pic for you Freedogg:

The o-ring acts as a spacer between the top of the Reo and the bottom of the atty, Rob sells them, Apparently you have to call him, I swear they used to be on the site but no more. Ask for a spacer O-ring for the LP.

Not at all impractical. I have a few Magma's in stock ready to go. The Divo will lack in clouds but should never lose the taste battle I think you might have other issues with wicking , coil, or conductivity. What resistance are you using? The bf Plumeveil would also do well.

I have a couple of them. So pretty much just drop it in the 510 connection hole? Sorry, just seems counter intuitive to me.

Got the Plume, clt, zenith. All look wonderful. Only issue is a negative post that can't have a screw put in it. Absolutely impossible. Tried every screw that came with it. Knowing ch, I'll have it corrected next week.

The work to make it a bf atty looks flawless, just a bad post. Can't wait to try it once fixed!

Send it back I will fix it. My son was in charge of hardware inspection... I will have to dock his pay...

Received my CLT, Zenith and Magma today. All look fantastic. So far the Magma is my favorite. The other two I am working on fine tuning. I will admit I absolutely hate doing dual coils with 32g wire. Actually I hate using 32g wire period, I have a devil of a time feeding it through the tiny post holes. So I am still working on the perfect setup. They all fire and work perfectly just need a little tweeking.

Why would you use #32 on a Reo? VV? These attys will take dual #26 with ease.

Lol. No worries my friend. Things happen. Already on its way back. Sent it out Friday. You should see it Monday. I'm so excited to get it back. Love the customizability of the air flow. I think that that last neg hole is a complete dud. It stripped the screw the second I tried putting it in. I tried the other screw and it didn't even take it.

To chowder. Is the CLT center post supposed to be adjustable?

If it is, what's the size of the hex screw you used?

M2.5 x 5mm

It's not made to be adjustable but if you don't put too much pressure on the positive on the 510 you could back it out 2-3 turns. Iirc that would take a 2mm Allen wrench.

recieved my Magma yesterday, only issue is i was actually on the Plumeveil list, but now that i have the magma built, i have to say, this flavor is amazing, a little tighter draw than i would like even at full open, but still, amazing flavor, good vapor production and CH's work looks flawless...now to convince the wife i need a plumeveil, assuming CH still has a couple in stock

I do have them.. Pm when you get a green light...
