I have no idea. Like I said, they beat to a different drum be it legal or illegal. Dank may take on a whole different meaning due to all of this. Dank = oily (just my silly guess)
Heh. I was thinking about this one too. If it really really gets going I could see terms occurring like “that’s danky” meaning “I don’t know where that has been it is not to be trusted”

Thank you for explaining this to me.

And I'm off to clear my browsing history, cookies and cache. ;)

NP.

And to note…the internet police already know your browsing history. Clearing the cache/cookies via the usual “clean button” does not really clean them. Just hides them from your view. But we’ll save that for another conversation.

Just for the record here but dank has been known to mean really high quality MJ for quite some time, like 20 years. It's now become a word for just about anything to describe it as "really good."
Slang has a way of changing without warning. Trademarking “dank vapes” would have been a good idea for someone a while ago. Not now though. Now You’d get a bajillion lawsuits from parents of dead kids

Maybe that is why it was never trademarked. Ever think the whole subculture of names is to confuse those who are not involved with the subculture? I am sure the meaning has been lost over time but the process still remains.

I’m astounded that it wasn’t the first day things were legalized. Remember all the brouhaha about internet site names back in the 90’s? Somebody gonna get rich.

Because that is how URL’s worked – you got rich off the names. Those that foreseen the future bought something like sex.com for dollars and sold it for millions. They still fetch for tones of money. But difficult to trademark an illegal product and even more difficult to try and cash in on that trademark from within an illegal market. How can Walt Disney sue for the use of Chronicles of Narnia, which is a name used in the Cannabis industry, from within an illegal market? Who do you sue?

I vaped hemp bomb vape juice its suppossed to be a natural cbd vape juice you get at vape shop in Indianapolis and also i vaped nakd vape juice both containing no nicotine

Sorry, I have no idea what it is, but if it was purchased from a legal licensed vape shop, you should probably be OK. What are the ingredients listed on the bottle?

I have yet to see a single report that implicates CBD vapes in any way shape or form. Personally I can tell you I'm vaping my legally store bought THC vape with little to no worries.

I think you intended to quote my previous post? It sounds fine and you should be fine. If you have any doubts, you can always ask the vendor--I'm sure they are paying attention now to what they are selling. Most tainted carts were purchased on black market and contained THC.

    From the article:

Health officials still do not know what exactly is making people sick.

Then (some) health officials are idiots, or acting like idiots.

    Also from the article:
“Of the patients who reported what products they used, THC-containing products were the most prominent link across patients, with only 16% reporting using only nicotine-containing products,”'

This exemplifies the idiocy. Claiming "still do not know" and noting this is truly disingenuous. You official types deserve to be scorned for such misinformation. Since you essentially allowed escalation on the war on vaping, you deserve zero credibility on scientific matters going forward. You can now be safely ignored going forward.

Plus there's this article, by Dr. Michael Siegel that further exemplifies the (scientific) idiocy at work.

Meh. This is most likely a multi-faceted problem. But ODDS ARE most of the issues are due to Vit-E-acetate in some carts, mostly bootleg. BUT THAT MIGHT BE OVERLY SIMPLISTIC.

@Wicked73088, if you're that worried and want to be safEST, then get your CBD/THC in other forms from legal dispensaries and don't vape it.

Even we nic vapers can't be 100% absolutely sure there isn't some other contaminant in the supply chain somewhere. Not all cases of lung disease were the same. I made a post in other threads about being overly simplistic when analyzing multi-faceted problems. And to be fair to the CDC, they have to "go wide" and narrow down using methods that basically are not assumptions and guessing. So they'll be overly-general at first out of an abundance of caution.
As to any of the other 3-letter agencies, governors, and congress-critters....:-x:censored::evil:

You'll probably be just fine, @Wicked73088, but if you get flu-like symptoms from anything...you either have the flu, or you got impacted by this vaping illness. So check with a doc. And I know it's easy to say, but relax a bit. Most of the stuff tested so far from legit dealers has been clean. And you even noted VG and PG in the ingredients, so if they're using VG they're probably not using Vit-E. As to pesticides and fungicides, IDK. Probably clean there as well...the legit green-stuff community does a good job of looking out for that stuff. That's partly why it's more expensive, but you get what you pay for.

And full disclosure, I don't use the green myself, so this is all indirect research and learning. But relax and deal with it intelligently and you'll be fine. Remember that there's MILLIONS of people vaping that stuff, "only" 800 tragically sick and "only" 13 deaths so far. Odds in your favor even if you did encounter "bad stuff", and it sounds like you didn't.

    @Katya - ;)
