ce 5 wickless connection

I need 5 post minimum here in this section and this makes #2 - forgive me if I seem mundane-
I came across good price on some ce 5 wickless w/ replaceable coils - bought 10 in 5 colors - yes I am lazy.
my issue is that all of the smoke colored ones was not making the gap to my battery. Of course this was brought to my attention when I was attempting to get my vape on. Fresh fill of liquid loaded and I simply unscrewed the connector w/half turns about 6-10 times til I finally made contact and could proceed with my day -
so my question - is this a common manufacturing mishap and simple owner/operator maintenance is key like most things in my life or should I be concerned about it being a serious flaw that could lessen my battery life or ....?
I think it was cranked up a few threads - no biggie- but of course I am smart enough to acknowledge I am not a vaping veteran

I've had similar problems with various clearos. The manufacturing standards for PV equipment is pretty lax. Usually I can just move the pin down a little. Don't over tighten or you risk damaging your PV.
