CE2 510 map tank 2.8 not working Infinity

Hi everyone, I purchased my first vv mod the Infinity about 4 weeks ago and I love it. I also have a couple of Map tank's from Cov. Not sure why but the last batch of CE2 replacement carto's that I cut myself with a 510 connection at 2.8-3.0 Ohms was not working with my Infinity.

I am wondering if anyone else had this problem? I was useing my map tank before with know problem and it worked fine. Now I screw in the map tank and it will not do a thing. This was going on for a couple of day's, then today I saw a 510 to 510 adaptor that a bought from Cov awhile ago sitting on the top shelf of my desk. I used the adaptor and now it is working fine. But if I had not noticed the adaptor or even thought to try it, I would have been really upset. I do not think it is a problem with my infinity, but rather something different with the CE2's. I just wanted to put this out there in case anyone else comes across this problem so they know how to fix it.

Pull the center pin of the Ce2 out a bit then it will make contact with the Infinity center post ! common issue , not all cartoz are made the same.

I did think of that but was afraid that I might have to deal with it leaking. Will try this now, thank's

Never had them leak from this before , give it a try

I had the same problem with mine and did what Mike said and it works fine. BTW that problem occurs on everything. I've had it happen on every 510 PV I have and on my 510 adapters.

I had the same problem on my Elegant 808. I had to pry the center post out on every carto that I put on that thing.
