CE2 Cartos

I just got some CE2. Both reg size and XL size. I pulled out a reg size one and filled it up. I gave it 5 min for the juice to wick took a pull off of it. Was good till the third pull. I got a burnt taste. I followed the directions for filling them. So far I am not impressed with them. What am I doing wrong?

Fill your card let it sit for 20 minutes to start wicking process but first drop a few drops on atomizer till a small leak comes out bottom end of connection. I love my ce2 ultimates from royal smoker. Don't throw them away they are good carts.

the silicone cup with the notches for the wicks may be down too low
