I loaded up my first XL Fluxomizer and damn! clean clear vape, loads of vapor and leak free. My regular clearomizers are going to have to pout in the corner now.

Still waiting for mine (they're still sitting in Jamaica ... New York, that is) but I have a feeling mine will be the same way. I've got a few sealed EMDCCs left and used filled my last regular DCC a few days ago (plus a bunch of refurbished cleaned ones) but when these get here I think they're all going to sit in my tackle box for a while. :)

I get emails from a guy like you all the time...I keep telling him he needs to send a damn glossary of abbreviations in his signature line...

We use a tackle box too :D love it! yeah I'm sort of making myself use my regular XL's for now otherwise I don't think I will ever use them again. I only have 3 left so I will just use them till they die then never buy one again. These Fluxomizers are wonderful, I love that I can use my 510 drip tip on them as well.

The drip tip is the only thing I'm missing -- definitely going to order a couple of those. I want a metal one 'cos they look nice but I'm afraid my lips would stick to them in the winter. Then the bell would ring, my friends would abandon me and I'd be stuck out there with my lips stuck to the flagpo-- er, PV.

These work very well for my flavors like peach and apple etc. but when I fill one with SV101 I’m not getting a lot of flavor. I followed the video instructions for removing the lower seal and fluffing the wick, still not a lot of flavor. I did notice the wick at the coil looks black so maybe I started vaping b4 the juice was totally wicked? Think cleaning it will help?

Solder flux is back, the old familiar yuck struck again, instant black crud on coil;.

I think you're the first to say that. I haven't had any issues with mine, nor have I noticed any flux inside any of them. Have you seen the flux? It's a thick dark yellow/orange colored paste.

Sort of. Best way I can think to describe is....you ever make Koolaid and not all the sugar dissolves. It almost feels/taste like that except instead of liquid it's vapor. I think it's OVER wicking is what the issue is. Which, with a CE2 there could be worse things then over wicking. My all day vape is just a super sweet liquid so after a little while it was making me sick to my stomach.

that is a combination of the ohm being lower then your other ce2 most likely also its top coiled and that will be experienced here nt here versus a bottom coiled carto. Dont take this explanation as the main cuase but I have experienced this before and that was my conclusion.

The ce2 when over wicking will do that, you can slow that down by pushing the wicks down a little in the slits.

Okay, after investigating a little further I think I have a little better idea of what's happening. I tried firing the coil while watching through my drip tip and I can still easily see these "streaks" of vapor shooting off the coil. The drip tip sits right on top of the trimmed cup seal (no middle ring on .8ml CE2's) so there's no space between them. Anyway, the "streaks" are actually little droplets of juice in the process of being vaporized (hence the trails) and some of them are shooting as far as halfway up the drip tip. This is without any suction, so as you can imagine, if this happens while you're drawing on it you could easily be sucking these little droplets of juice into your mouth.

I'm not sure what the solution is to this, but if you had some kind of fine mesh you could cut out a piece and put it between the ring and the drip tip. That would probably stop the droplets from shooting into your mouth. I may try just putting a little piece of blue foam down in there and see if that helps...

So that's what it was. Lots of mine were "gunking up" real quick (like within the first 3-4 fills) until I did the first clean and dry burn. It was like a dark bubble on the coils. Ewwy looking.

So it seems like some of these have some leftover flux at a solder joint in the cup. Pobably not a huge deal -- I wouldn't want to vape that, though I'm not really sure if vaping rosin is bad for you or not. Either way though if I notice something like that I'll have to take mine apart when they get here and see if I can spot the flux before I fire it up. Or just dry burn it off.

i've experienced similar things as those above; upon opening up a brand new one, the lower rubber piece and coils were definitely wet. proceeded to fill it with juice anyways and had a really nasty taste. thought it might be defective so went ahead and opened up a new one, but same thing, the insides were already wet with some liquid and nasty taste as well (i even put couple drops on the coil this time). however, i kept vaping away anyways and yes, it sure took a long time (vaped more than 3/4 of the 1.8ml), but that nasty taste finally went away and the flavors finally came through.

next time, i'll probably just take it apart and give it a good cleaning/dry burn first before using. as stated the plastic sure is tough, i had no fear of breaking it.

not sure why your getting droplets of juice or why your juice would be sparking, but that doesnt seem to be happening, ive had it happen but not something that happens often and with the main juices i use. ill keep playing around though

Me either. I've noticed it with both Boba's and NLV Renegade RY4. If I can get my camera to focus clearly I'll get some pictures or video. FYI, I'm using the 2.6 - 2.8 version (if it matters).

yes please do, like i said this has happened to me on occasion as well just not with the new ones so any info you all can gather would be great so i can hand it to them and make sure to keep on eye out for whatever i can show them.

But as far as I know and what ive been told repeatedly there is no flux used, it could be residual stuff form cleaning the wick or whatever they might prime some, not sure but ill keep a look out for it.

The best bet if you run into something like that is a simple wash in hot water and dru birn, add 3 drop to ocil and burn that off, and your good to go
