Has any found a supplier or company that has tobacco e-juice like or very similar to MFS Turbosmog, Tall Paul, or Red Luck?

I read through a bunch of threads about it awhile ago, but the results seemed mixed, and it's a bigger investment than I've wanted to get into. CE2s are pretty cheap.

I take it you haven't tried it, either.

The $$$ is what hold me back also.

I've fond el-Cheap-O brands of Ultra-Sonic Cleaners on amazon/e-Bay but the reviews are horrible. Seems like you have to pay decent money to get a good one and I just not ready to shell out 75 bucks or so just for something to clean CE2's.

I find that boiling tends to lock the gunk into the wick. Kinda like the way hot water sets a stain verses cold water removes it.

    But YMMV

Really? Maybe that's why the vinegar soak isn't working for me. I've been cleaning them in near-boiling water first. I'll try skipping the hot water and soaking them in vinegar next time I dry burn. I like sweet high-VG juices, too, so if it's working for you it ought to work for me.

I love, and I mean love, the CE2s -- especially the ones from gotvapes. I'm not disparaging the best cartos in the world, and I'm definitely not going to stop using them. But I have a question about charring... I believe the deluxes sport new wicks? I'm wondering if they have different characteristics because I'm having an unusual experience with charring in the two I have in rotation.

Normally the whole coil chars up a bit, but the deluxes are also developing a big chunk of char in the middle of the coil. After about a week the carto hits at 4.2V like a new one hits at 3.2V. I dryburn and they are back to ripping through juice at 3.7V, and blistering at 4.2V. That's a good thing. :) The outer coils dryburn clean in perhaps ~4 bursts, but it takes forever to get the center char off -- as in perhaps a dozen bursts. The chunk of char is so hard that gently picking won't dislodged it. I have to dryburn it so hot that I'm afraid I'm going to pop a solder joint or melt the heatshrink.

Granted, I'm mixing a new juice with my old juice (that's out of stock) to stretch it out, so maybe it's just the juice... I'm just wondering if others have noticed this?

there is a product calleed gunk off, its used to clean glass pipes, it removes the gunk off coils in 3 minutes flat

its very soapy though so a thorough wash is needed after its used but it works and works fast and breaks up any gunk of any kind

I take it that your experience with this is that it leaves no residue after washing -- no taste or other effect? I'll take a look at it.

Do you have a brand name on that? I googled it and got 3+ million hits saying how to get the gunk off everything in creation, but no product by that name in the first 5 pages of hits.

I feel that safe and successful Dry Burning, like many things e-Cig, is 3 parts Hard Cold Science and 7 parts Trial and Error.

Sure, one can site many facets of Exothermal Reactions, Metallurgic Dynamics of Oxygen Induction or Wavelength Emissions as an indicator of Elevated Temperatures, but where the rubber meets the road is What Works Best for a given user.

I’ve had nothing but Bad Luck blowing on a CE2 while Dry Burning. So I don’t. I’ve also had Very Good Luck soaking a CE2 in White Vinegar before Dry Burning. So I do.

But if another person finds it to works better for their needs to not soak and to blow while Dry Burning, I say stick with what works.
It seems trial and error is the only way to find out what works, eh? The only "dry" burn I do is before the first fill-up. I do the vinegar soak and burn to clean them and it works rather well.

I got a pack of 2.4-2.6 for my Riva 510 (vaping BWB Backo, 24mg) and they vaped nicely for the first couple of hits but then went downhill from there. Clean, dry burn, etc. Still the same.

After I ripped the bottom plug, I replaced it with an old clear CE2 plug and got less of a burnt taste. (note: I also tried eliminating the bottom plug and using the center one, flipped.) I went on to replacing all of the plugs and there was an improvement. Then I decided to swap out the tube with one of my BD syringes and MUCH better. Finally, With some more futzing around, I took a center plug from one of the failed Bauway CE2s (looks like this one's plug without the inner lip but with a pin sized hole), cut a larger hole, and HELLO!

safe for tubes but i always remove tubes before cleaning, just how i roll lolol

    I hear ya.

That is another Very Cool thing about the Lastest CE2's. The tubes can be removed and replaced without leaking. Atleast if you are careful.

Might have to order some Grunge Off and try it.

Took one of my ce2's apart for cleaning, soaked in water for about 1 day and then dry burned, came fairly clean. then I tried to put the cup cover back in and the whole center pipe came out, just pushed out real easy. it's back together, but without the cup seal. Haven't tried it yet, should work. It came out real easy, could be where any leaking could be coming from.
I've seen the grunge off at amazon, but haven't ordered any yet. Maybe you guys should sale it as a special cleaner for ce2's and the other wicked atties.

i tried with just the second ring, seems better and seem to get consistent wicking. still get juicy vapes though, guess i'll just have to learn to live with it. the old ones definately didn't have this happening. but I guess tubes that don't crack, that you can see through are worth the extra juice consumption.

what i'd like is to be able to poke a couple of holes into the second ring and just be able to fill without removing it every time, not sure how to make the holes though.
