CE2 Maptank Question

Is it possible to use a carto with the ce2 maptank? or maybe a way to convert it? has anyone tried?

Ive heard of useing steel ce2's and like a dc carto

I've been wondering about this. I tried to use one of those ce2/ce3 clearo-carto sized thingie's with the double wicks in one of my carto tanks, but I couldn't get it to work at all. I cut a large slot out of the clear plastic with my dremmel.

Then I saw they had the same thing available with a steel shell like a regular cartomizer. I was tempted to get a couple to see if I punched a hole in one would it work in a tank, but remembered my previous experiment.

I wonder what went wrong? Will these carto/ce2/ce3 hybrids work in a traditional carto tank?
