I broke down a ce2 cartomizer today. I wanted the center post that the ceramic cup is mounted on. As I was hoping it fits perfectly in the top plastic center hole.

With about 3/4 of an inch of the cartomizer center post inserted into the top plastic hole, the ceramic cup sits perfectly positioned. I used 1 rubber at the bottom of the cup, just to keep the ceramic away from the plastic, the post does all the rest. The cup can be taken off and put back on effortlessly. It does not leak.

The same center post also fits into the cone neck if you want to make it longer. Take the remainder of the post that you have left over and slightly crease it 1/8 of an inch from the end, it will sit in the end of the cone with out going into it. The cone can be adjusted by removing the mouth piece, nothing more. No tools needed.

I hope this is useful to anyone using the iatty.
