My ce2 was so gunked up when I tried to clean it today that a dry burn toasted it the second the coil started getting red. Rip

You mean it stopped working? Does your PV have a 15 second cutoff? If not you want to only burn it in 5-10 second incriments. It takes me something like 2-3minutes of 10 second dry burns to clean a ce2.

It sounds like pocketing your PV with a CE2 on it isn't an option. I carry my GLV2mini with standard 510 style atomizer and drip tip in my pocket all day. I went ahead and ordered some of the metal CE2-style cartomizers (GotVapes FLüXomizer™ CE2-X Carto - 510 XL BLK 1.8ML 2.6-2.8 ohms); are they sturdy-enough to carry around with me? I can't be wooing a new client and have juice seeping out my pants but for the most part my work isn't very physical so it shouldn't see much trauma

If you can keep them upright and not stressed you'll be ok with them. If I'm going to carry some around to use and don't want to or can't make sure they stay safe I'll put a boge end cap on each end. Then when I want to use it just remove the end cap, blow it out in case any got in the center tube and I'm ready to vape. When I'm done just put the end caps back on them.

What I hate most about them, lately... I got an order that had 2 of the 5 cracked at the bottom before I even filled them. :(

Has anyone had success using CE2s with 100% VG?

That's all I use, Johnson Creek's Red Oak line (PG-free). Unlike some 100%VG juice it is not too thick. I have used some thick VG juice before and it seemed to work okay.

Where are you ordering from, Phreaker? I get mine from Got Vapes and they're packaged really nicely. Each one is snuggled into its own slot of foam.

Are you using the Fluxomizers? What ohm do you use? Are they the same as these? 510 CE2 Clearomizer XL

They are the same, just rebranded for GV. If I'm not mistaken GV works directly with the company on suggestions to make them better so revisions/changes usually come through GV first before making it to other vendors.

FWIW mine whether from from GV or any other vendor quite often come out of the box cracked. If I had to guess would probably be about 50% or maybe more across the board. I do syringe mod so doesn't really bother me. More of an expected type of thing now.

That's abhorrently unacceptable. If the product's obviously broken when you receive it there shouldn't be a question of refund. You may not have needed it to be in working order but that's what you paid for. With both the manufacturer and the supplier if they are offering products as new it's a reasonable expectation that they are new and *not* broken unless they state that.

I've had friends (engineers) go into business using factories in China and in their experiences it ended up being cheaper to make parts in Mexico and the US at the end of the day (because they have a better chance of following directions and not cutting corners with worthless materials in contrast to experiences with Chinese manufacturers)

I totally agree, they should work out of the box and not crack, could not agree more.

I also agree that for .25 cents for a syringe tube and a about 2 minutes with each out of the box to give a the best carto I've ever tried that has lasted me 3 months so far isn't worth sending back for a refund. In fact I'd just get another pack in exchange if I did that and they'd probably be cracked. In the end it works for me and I'm happy.

Great Idea, why didn't I think of that?

I just cleaned mine and it works like new. Great flavor and throat hit. I cant wait to see how long these thing will last.

Glad it worked for you, Ricks. The only reason my clearos have gone defunct is because the cases are cracking and I can't find the replacement tubes anywhere. Otherwise, with the dry=burn method, they seem to last quite a long time.
