My ce2 was so gunked up when I tried to clean it today that a dry burn toasted it the second the coil started getting red. Rip

if it's really gunked, you can't just blast on the battery button until the coil gets red. 5 seconds at at time....tops. Then wait a few seconds... and then keep repeating until the gunk is gone. You'll see the smoke pouring off it, even if the coil doesn't get red.

Can these be bought in any stores locally?
I got mine at walmart. BD 3ml Syringe (luer-lok tip) They will probably ask what you want it for. I said for oiling small parts. Also I here that you can get them at pet supply stores of farm and ranch stores. I don't remember for sure but I think they were well under a Dollar each, so I bought 6 of them.

Most local pharmacies, I get mine at CVS for 25 cents each, not quite as cheap as ordering online in bulk but good since I don't need 100. Walmart and pet supply stores should have them also. Make sure you get 3ml BD as they fit the clearos.

Ok, I have my first cracked CE2. Its cracked at the base where the threads are. Where can I get a syringe to replace it and what size do I need?

While waiting for syringes, remove the tube and flip it around, so the cracks are up at the top. There is nothing to leak up there, so you'll get some extra mileage out of it. :)

Believe me, the Clearomizers are just too weak. I used to baby them all the time, yet they still cracked after a week or two for no apparent reason.

Best stick with the metal ones imo. Or try the G5's at 5v (if you have a variable mod).

See now here's the 1/50 ce2 issue that happens to pop up occasionally for me. One of the 2.8-3ohm clearo's that I use in my GP SSR has a big defect. Its one of the looped ce2's, regular (short) size, and one of the loops was cut out of the box. Now this is a good thing. I like that. However, the thing tastes like primer!! I hate that!

Now I know a lot of ce2's start with a slightly primer taste and I usually manage to rinse it out, but after 5 minutes of rinsing and a loooooooong dry burn it still tastes like primer. I hope it's not worthless because I accidentally broke one of them and I'm down to 2 in this pack. I'm trying to vape through it but the taste isn't going away. BOOOO! Oh well.
