Alright, Just got in my CE3s and Nanotank and I tried blowing out the primer gunk and stuff came out of the CE3, nothing with the Nano. So I figured whatever lest try these out, filled em up, let em sit for a while and take some puffs on the CE3. blah horrible burny taste. Gave it about ten puffs and it wont go away. So I decided to see if the Nano would be a little better. There is way less of the bad taste but it is still there.

So the question, What do you do to prepare your tanks for the first use? The site mentions washing out with water but I am not sure how to go about doing that.

Any tips or advice would be appreciated.

Oh i'm using 100% vg so maybe this is part of the issue but I would still like to hear what people are doing to prep their new tanks.

I've had bad taste from both new CE3/4's as well as new RBA's. I figure it's some sort of machining oils or something on the coils. In my experience, if I don't rinse them out before first use or after a few vapes, the taste stays. Not all have done it though, but enough that I always rinse with vodka. Water hasn't always worked but vodka has. Doesn't need to be good vodka :D. I fill, shake, dump twice then dry burn a bit (because alcohol in juices gives me a sore throat), and then fill with juice.
