I seem to be having issues finding a good step by step picture (or video) guide on the best cleaning method for CE4's.. can anyone point me in the right direction? I'm on my phone and don't have a lot of time to sit and sift through everything in the search and I'm not having much luck finding a good thread. Thanks in advance! :)

It's real easy, you unscrew the tip, set it aside, and look inside.
In the center is a silver tube, surrounded by a clear rubber thingy.
Stick a paperclip in the center hole and gently pry and wiggle it out of the clearo. Put it aside (safe).
Rinse the clearo out with warm water. I use right outta the tap, but some recommend distilled (purer)
Repeat several times, til it looks and smells pretty clean.
Shake out as much excess water as possible and dry it off.
Wash the rubber thingie, metal piece, and mouthpiece too, and set them aside to dry.
Put the clearo (still disassembled) on your battery, and fire for about four second...you will hear it sizzle, this is called "dry burning".
Dry burn several more times until the sizzling sound slows and you can see the coil inside glow red a bit. You will also smell a burnt kinda smell at this point.
Reassemble, being careful that the rubber thingy and metal tube piece are seated properly inside the clearo. Use a paperclip to get it in there just right.
Fill with juice, replace mouthpiece and vape.

Takes about five minutes.
P.s.- DENVER!

Hi there!

I'm a noob. Like, really, a noob; I've only been doing this for a week.

I ordered three CE4s from Apollo to go with my TGo, and after only a few days, two of them were dead. Apollo, being the awesome company that they are, told me that they're sending me two replacements.

Anyhoo, I figured since I had the support dude on chat, I'd ask about care and feeding for clearos, and he told me that you don't wash them at all. I asked him how to get the taste out, and he said to put the new flavor in, and after a few hits, the old flavor would be replaced.

This was after I'd followed other advice that I found online and soaked them in vodka and swabbed them out with a Q-Tip. I don't know if that's what killed them, because everything I've read says they should be washed, but I don't plan to do that anymore. I figure I'll segregate the clearos - one for spicy flavors, one for fruity flavors, etc. Maybe that'll keep the pollution to a minimum.

So, that's what I heard, straight from the manufacturer.

Have a foggy day!

this is how I took care of mine, now I use the ce5 that you can disassemble to clean, lots easier :)
