CE4 Clearomizer on a 510

I was wondering if I need an adaptor of any sorts to use my older Epower 14650, 510 based ecig to use on a CE4 clearomizer, I just got them in and realized that the things do not fit, mainly because of the cone threading. Could I get away with modding it and removing the cone thredding or do I have to buy an adapter of some sort to accommodate for the CE4s.

I never had that Epower battery, but if it has a standard 510 connection on it you will most likely need a 510 to eGo adapter for the CE4.

The regular 510 to eGo adapter will work but there will be a space. See this:
