CE4 has no flavor

So my first atomizer went dead, it was one exactly like this one, only branded by some local distributor. While still alive it was leaky and needed daily cleaning and you had to be quite patient to get a good mouthful but it had great flavor.

I figured the bad qualities is what you'd expect from a cheapo ecig and more expensive variety would improve on all of it, right? I got a CE4 kit and while the draw is much easier, more vapor, more throat hit, no leaks... there is no flavor, at all! The difference is like comparing a sweet cigarillo to a low tar cigarette, very disappointing.

Any tips on what other atomizers are out there that would have the best qualities of both of these?

what is the ce4 attached to ?

also there is A WHOLE FRIGGING BOAT LOAD(literally a boat load) of knockoffs of the original vision product.

my best experience so farhas been with the non rebuildable CE4's with the longer wicks. Though they still need a shake now and then. I also rinse and dry burn them after every tank full. Out of the 8 i have only one has been DOA, and it was a knock off. The rest have been flawless for more than 2 weeks so far. Yes i get the occasional dry hit but i have learned to know when and why they happen and how to prevent them (occasional shaking).

So far i have tried Kanger T3, awesome vapes wit that, though "cooler" than the vision/ stardust types. Recently got a mini vivi nova, having some leaking issues but i think i know why that happened.

its mostly attached to a variable voltage psu usually at 4v (any higher and i get burning liquid with the length of my drags). Whether its a knockoff or not - not sure, looks like this, it looks authentic enough but is being rebranded by the retailer.

Also i tested it with other liquids, apple and red bull come through pretty strong all though the sweetness of both is tad muted. The one i'm having trouble with is ry4 (mostly vg based)
